Daily Update

Plan for the day:
  • Task FOUN-8 - Create user stories for rise-core
  • Task FOUN-7 - Identify Code Coverage tool
  • Task FOUN-6 - Identify CI/CD Pipeline
  • Task FOUN-5 - Identify SIEM tool
  • Task FOUN-4 - create rise-core components
  • Task FOUN-3 - create rise-core milestones
  • Task FOUN-2 - Create rise-core project
  • Task FOUN-1 - Create Rise-Core Roadmap

Task issue-# - Issue title = completed

We also fixed some issues on Testnet yesterday to get the delegates running, so Testnet is mostly operational. We are aware of an issue with "contacts", and a couple of holdouts of the Lisk name.

We selected tools for our Continuous Delivery and Integration, and Code Coverage pipeline. All of it will be controlled by Atlassian's Bamboo, on Amazon EC2 servers.

SIEM tooling will be based on Elasticsearch, using Logstash and Kibana, with some custom plugins for attack detection. All nodes will have this SIEM node installed on it for use by Node owners.

Still working on Rise Roadmap. We are planning on launching a subset of our features as quickly as possible so we can get you your coins as quickly as possible, and will continue to add supporting features as we go along. Roadmap will be posted in our Wiki. The wiki is pretty sparse at the moment, but I'll let you know when the Roadmap and other items are up.

Today, the task list is what is left from yesterday.
Plan for the day:
  • Task FOUN-8 - Create user stories for rise-core
  • Task FOUN-1 - Create Rise-Core Roadmap

Have a great day!

Bounty Campaign Update

Some people have been asking about the bounty campaigns. Here is an article we just compiled that explains the bounties and how they work --> https://rise.vision/blog/post/breakdown-of-the-pre-launch-rise-bounty-campaigns

Also if you are interested in receiving some RISE tokens on testnet to play with, please request here: https://www.hipchat.com/ggpJ4VOEj
Thanks everyone!  Smiley

Nice, about time.  Smiley

Thx for update... but why are you caping Translation Bounty at 5000RISE if there are not 40 translations... It would be better if you divid them with amount of translations (at the moment 19) then we would get more  Grin
Yes.
To limit translation bounty at 5,000 RISE per translation was not the initial terms.
They was 200,000 RISE for translations, without limits.
If you want to limit, you can fix a minimum of 5,000 RISE per translation, even if their number exceeds 40 (unlikely) :-).

I went back through my initial announcements and you are correct. Even though in our minds we were capping translations at 5,000, somehow it was not written into the initial announcement. I think that was Alty's fault. We can blame him.  Grin

Actually it was my mistake so I have spoken with the team and we are uncapping this. It will be divided evenly. I will edit the article to reflect this shortly. Thanks

Thank you... For admitting that you made a mistake. You just got one big plus from my side.

It is still 40 posts  Wink

There is an example that we provided that showed a Hero Member with 90 new posts. But to qualify it's 40.

That was just an example of how much that Hero Member would get with 90 posts at the end of the ICO. Minimum to qualify is only 40.

You guys have been busy. So how long after June 10th will we have to wait before Rise launches? Is it going to take as long as Lisk? If so, I don't think I can be that patient.  Cheesy

We will also be increasing dramatically the number of delegates in use on our system, to create a more decentralized DPoW system.

wat is DPoW?

Only delegates will mine with POW.

How long would we have to wait after June 10th?

We don't expect it to take as long as Lisk, but it's too early to give a launch date.

In addition to myself and Richard Hooper, we also added another Developer, Nathanael Burchill who will start contributing to the project next week. So our dev team is at 3 total. His information will be going up on the website under "team" shortly.
