RiSE amount just jumped down shitloads again!!! is the 20% already over, the extension? says 15% now
Yes, 20% was over as of 6AM EST this morning. We extended it for 24 hours. 15% will go until next Tuesday at 6AM EST, 10% for a week beyond that. Then no more bonus. I was more concerned maybe that bug that happened a couple days ago happened again when it went down to 15% as my total RISE went down i think almost 20% when i refreshed , who knows maybe there was some massive new investor, havnt checked yet. + 15 btc in a day from total 150 btc 10% https://blockchain.info/address/3466r4y8FuVUE6FHuCShshQkCYZY3xaqdG

It does benefit in the sense that RISE gets more operating capital but as for individual investors, we will just have much less rise as 2 weeks of extra BTC!1 month ICO is already rediculously long, 1.5 months like what waves are doing is just plane greedy!!! But atleast Waves said so from the start, my problem is more you cant just change ICO conditions mid way just cause you wanna raise more capital, thats extremely unprofessional. Infact in any other coin i would assume a scam , not here though I would like to take a moment to address this. While it is true we are changing the ICO end date, the real goal, a functional mainnet, has not had a delivery date up until today. We extended the ICO in order to pair the end of the ICO with the launching of the mainnet. As we are not taking any ICO funds until Mainnet has launched, we figured it would be of benefit to our early investors for more people to be invested at 0%, so we extended that segment of the ICO only. This way, our early supporters, all of you, would see greater impact of your bonuses. Our extension was also a consideration for the other large ICOs that are currently coming to an end, to give more people the opportunity to jump on us after Waves and DAO completed. Less RISE = More valuable RISE. I would personally rather have a smaller number of more valuable currency, than a larger number of less valuable currency. $70k marketcap. It's getting up there. In one month it will go over 250k IMHO Yeah definitely over 500 btc. It would be nice to to hit the 1250 btc mark for acre. I wonder if they hit 1249 if they'll still do it Honestly it does raise the question what happens if they get to 1000 or 1100 btc.

I will be surprised if this project collects over 500btc to be honest. Unless a major investor pumps 100 -200 btc. 20% bonus one can expect o collect the most and they have managed abt 150btc.

What is the minimum to have the ACRE project funded? 155BTC is a large number and have a few days ahead yet.

Its only now that I get to read about the Acre Project. I must have misunderstood it too but is ACRE another token to be on ICO too? Depending on the success of the ICO it will allow Acre to take place. How much BTC is needed for it to be started?

IMO not a good thing at all extending ICO dates, people so far have invested given the information supplied, you cant just change the goal posts!!! Sets a very bad precedent|! Not to mention much less RISE for everyone Totally agree on that - the rules should not be changed during the game - this is actually punishing early adopters instead rewarding them. Looks like RISE team noticed the 1250 BTC goal won't be achieved, and they extended the ICO instead working harder on promoting it, and attracting more investors. LISK will most likely launch before June 10th, so quite a few liskers will come and invest here, so extending ICO now is rather sign of panic and lack of analytical view of the market. If RISE team won't manage to launch mainnet on June 24th, then all the babbling about "pairing the end of the ICO with the launching of the mainnet" will become just a piece of shit. Also, "Less RISE = More valuable RISE" is just a plain theory - the value will be determined by The Market after launch and not by ICO calculations.

We will contact each investor via email once the ICO has ended with full instructions on how to receive their coins. The most likely scenario, unless one of the devs can think of a safe way to automate the process, would be for each user to log into their own web wallet and send back their public key. Its only now that I get to read about the Acre Project. I must have misunderstood it too but is ACRE another token to be on ICO too? Depending on the success of the ICO it will allow Acre to take place. How much BTC is needed for it to be started? 1250 Btc is needed to start project Acre. If not enough is raised to make it happen from the Rise ICO we may run a separate token sale at a later date.

Totally agree on that - the rules should not be changed during the game - this is actually punishing early adopters instead rewarding them.
Actually doing the math it will help the early adopters. Here is an example. I bought some during the first two days for the 25% and then again at 20%. If nobody else buys any now then I'm not really benefiting since everyone else who bought is getting the same bonus. So then we all are really getting 0% bonus. The only way our bonuses work is if others are buying at a lower bonus % or no bonus at all. Having them extend the 0% bonus for 2 weeks I think will actually help me as an early investor. If RISE team won't manage to launch mainnet on June 24th, then all the babbling about "pairing the end of the ICO with the launching of the mainnet" will become just a piece of shit. I think I am in an agreement here. It's important that the June 24th date sticks.

Hy I just wanted to ask if the RISE team knows each other in real life. do you all know each other? do you see each other? Steven Remington and Myself have known each other for years. We built a mining business together a couple of years ago that went bust with Mt. GOX. All members of the Development Team, Richard Hooper, Nathanael Burchill, and Myself have worked together on other dev projects in the Enterprise App development space. That ended approximately 6 months ago, Richard Hooper and Nathanael Burchill continue to work together. I trained both Richard Hooper and Nathanael Burchill when they took dev positions at their current company. Steven Remington and Cormac Lucking have known each other for a couple of years, and Cormac has worked with the rest of the team in the past. The Dev Team and I see each other at least weekly. The rest of the team is entirely remote.
