That's reassuring news!! We don't need another launch fiasco. Still heated about the whole Lisk thing.  Undecided

Fook, wotta day! And I managed to keep my cool...go figure.

Once again, thank you for the answers.  Can you expand on securing the blockchain - is it DPoS, mining or what?

Time: 10 seconds
• Round Time: ~17 minutes
• Confirmations for Final Transaction: 6-10
• Supply: 100 million Rise
• Rise's official ticker: RISE

It's Delegated Proof of Stake.

Statistics

For those that are interested in stats, here are some figures comparing the numbers from 24 hours ago to today.

Users: 1052 to 1248 = 196 Newly registered signups on rise.vision

Total Btc invested: 230 to 256.16 = 26.16 Bitcoin raised for Rise project.

Individual Investments: 860 to 1029 = 169 investments made.

Contact page, media / marketing tools, price ticker and more ways to gain insight into the numbers of the ICO are being added to the website later today.

On top of the confirmed talk that Justin recently announced, we are trying to secure a developer interview.

Quote
We have official date and time for the "Next Generation Economy" talk, as well as the Rise.Vision Dev Discussion. These will be held back to back on Wednesday, June 8th, at 1200 hours for the "Next Generation Economy" talk, and 1300 hours for the Rise.Vision Dev Discussion. Times are in Eastern Standard Time.

Both of these talks will be hosted, and will be recorded for viewing at your leisure.

I think your platform success depends on the number of developers who you can pull to develop. So the various language support is definitely a huge plus over Lisk. But like with all things you could lose a huge market share for coming after Lisk, so the goal should be to release the developer centric aspects of the project.

Can we move the mobile UI to later stage and bring in the Dapp builder and then Smart Contracts earlier.

Also you have listed 5 languages, do you guys have the expertise in all five languages?

That's a great suggestion. I'm already looking at rearranging a bit of the roadmap to focus on the development side of things more quickly.

I personally have experience in NodeJS, Python, Ruby, Swift, a bit of Java and C#. Richard has mostly focused on Front-End JavaScript, and Nathan has experience with NodeJS, Python, and Java.

Luckily, our SDKs will be API wrappers, all written to the same standard, so anyone who is decent at programming in general could take a language's documentation and put together the SDK.

This project on paper sounds even more attractive than LISK. Let's see how it goes. At least, guys, pay a good amount of attention on launch. Be prepared for possible DDoS attack and overall trafic depending on ICO participants. A noob proof Windows app with GUI is preferable.

That LISK launch was epic fail.

I am going to be putting most of my development efforts into infrastructure for the time being, to ensure that we don't have any issues at launch. We are also going to be putting the next iteration of Testnet through significant amounts of load testing, and I'm testing some auto-scaling functionality to be able to increase the ability of our servers to handle more load without any downtime.

Nice. The more investors & interested parties and more investment made into the project the better.

Just got off the phone with Justin. He's hoping for today. If not, it'll probably be tomorrow. We understand it's important to many investors so it will be very soon.

Yes, we made the decision early on to extend it 2 weeks. You can read more about why we did that here:

Thanks for the question.

Hi @bglshimo, the goal is to reach a minimum of 1250 BTC so that our devs can keep developing RISE full-time and we can launch the ACRE project as well.

If this goal is not reached then we will put the ACRE project on hold until a later time and then a minimum of 600 BTC would be sufficient to keep our devs working on RISE full-time for at least a year.

Anything less would mean the development will still continue but at a slower rate because our devs would need to work part-time on it and spend some time on other work that provide the needed income for them.

Thank you for your interest and support!

But if the goal of 600 BTC is NOT reached,
then you also will give the ico investors the full 88 Million of 100 Million coins?

Or will you cut the total amount of ico coins?
