Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market?

Do you really think that the bitcoin will affect the forum market of steam i think they are only happy about it becuase they can finally take care of the bitcoin with the games that is nice fr them.

No it will not affect the market on here because the prices are here better and this is is also payable with the bitcoin ( more knowable).
Steam still has to be more popular with bitcoin payments they have integrated.

Steam accepting btc didn't affect the forum market as much as it could have. This is probably because there are better related forums where they can sell their steam related items much easier for bitcoin then they would be able to here.

Steam accepting btc is a nice step and didn't affect the forum market so much but it did affect the bitcoin community a little bit.
I think this move made it so that more people are using/know of bitcoin now. If amazon would do this too it would help alot.

A lot of people use steam and bitcoin actually you'd be amazed. Especially the only gaming community is into bitcoin since everything is digital you know.
But steam accepting btc didn't affect this forum one bit from what I observed.

Steam accepting btc is a nice move towards the btc community. It hasn't affected the forum but it did affect the way other webshops see bitcoin now I think.
Steam is quite big so it sets an example of how other shops should be implenting it too.

Agree because it could add up to the current amount of bitcoin thats why it will going to be high at price!. That is a good indication that bitcoins adoption is already increasing and because of this steam made the bitcoin to become more popular.

Certainly it is not going to affect a lot the price of bitcoin in the forum market.  But instead it is going to help the demand of bitcoin in the market.

Even though not too high but it is better that a big platform is already adopting bitcoin.

It does not really affect the forum market but it did affect the bitcoin a little I suppose because the steam community is quite big and alot of the steam community started to use bitcoin now too.

It could attract people who would buy games from sites like bitcointalk to buy games in the official way from Steam instead. Our markets could lose some customers, but I don't think that it'll be too negative. Even if the official provider accepts btc, people'll still buy from forums because people usually sell games on forum under the price of the official provider's ones. In addition, that's not only the case with Steam and Steam's openness for accepting btc could help the fame of crypto-currency.

Well it's here already and didn't quite affect the forum market from what I am able to see and observe.
I think other more "game&bitcoin" related forums have more posts about steam games for sale than bitcointalk does.
