Personally I disagree, if Amazon decided to accept bitcoin directly, I’m pretty sure that a spike in the price of bitcoin will happen almost overnight, miners will become more profitable with the increase in price and I’m sure that a domino effect will follow and a lot more important businesses will begin accepting bitcoin.

Steam's acceptance of bitcoin is somehow going to help the economy of bitcoin. But it doesn't mean that it will going to completely affect the forum market.

The people who are responsible for making affection for the forum's market are the merchants itself of steam games or in game items.

Yeah there might be an affect to the market but that is not totally the one that is making the price of bitcoin higher. But good thing now that steam is one of the contributors and helping the bitcoin economy that many are going to adopt it as they have millions of gamers all around the world. It did not change anything and it also will never change the market over here, the price is here way cheaper for some games but we will see what is gonna happen.

Indeed they will start selling ingame items too etc but I don't think it will happen on this forum so often cause I think steam already accepts it nowadays but it hasn't really changed the forum a whole lot if you ask me.
