yes, what a good news to me as I don't really want to buy in PP, and I don't own a Credit Card at the moment, if Steam can accepted BTC, make my life much more easy. Yeah, that's really a good news because paypal really charge so high and you need to be verified first and avail a credit card in avail to be verified with paypal. But steam needs to pursue their players to use bitcoins too. Yes they should do some kind of discount in the first 3 months or something to let the people see what it is and encourage the people to use it in my eyes.

Its just that PP is shtty so I would definitely use bitcoin. Less hassle. If you know what I mean.

It never affect the bitcoin price, maybe it can still come but I do not think this, the marketplace prices are still way cheaper than buying the games on steam itself directly.

That's right, even if steam accepts btc now no affection for the forum markets cycle, but if steam community has a big demand for using and paying bitcoins, maybe it will be a very big effect for the whole market of bitcoin itself.

It will affect on Steam and Bitcoin and that is because people will use Bitcoin now more as a payment method for Steam and Steam will be also now more used and that is really nice. But not everyone knows that you can pay with Bitcoin in Steam and so we have to promote it more so more people will get to know about it and that would be nice.

What am I supposed to tell you it's a referral link? Sorry didn't realize that. I'll add it to the original post? Or should I just take the link down?
To be honest a quick search of Steam bitcoin throws up many a thread. So it would be a better idea to just archive this thread.. But if you want it to stay, you can always simply edit your original link, if you cant, it doesnt really matter . Not everyone is an ass when it comes to referrals links like me Well I removed the referral part for now. Thanks for being an ass! Lol i dont think it would affect the forum market allot it only profide them and thats because all of the people can also use the bitcoin paying method not only to eachother but also in steam now and that is great.

Maybe it can affect because since steam accepted it those who use steam and gamers may be courious about bitcoin and out of couriousity thy will research and try this so by that the market for bitcoin will be wider knowing steam have many millions of gamers and user globally and it can be a great factor for bitcoins another business acceptance, because it is great to know bitcoin is accepted in steam.

what are you saying man? did you read the mean thread? there is not bitcoin price being discussed. the issue is if steam start accepting bitcoin what will happen with bitcointalk users who sell steam games for bitcoin in digital good section. I think if it happens, these sellers will get down and their work will get blocked. no one will buy games from them.,, but what is the new update? is it happened? is steam started accepting bitcoin or not yet?

Steams acceptance had took bitcoin one step ahead, but it is not possible to provide bitcoin a big growth. Only when years pass these might get changed.

I think for me it will affect if more players and other countries know about bitcoin with promo that you buy cheap bitcoin and you can buy anything in steam just like that maybe more players in steam are buying bitcoin to use and to get promo.. So more buyers low supply it will affect the price of bitcoin..

Decided to end it with zer0 profit.

I havent noticed a difference either, they did not promote it on the steam platform so hard. Just the initial media hype, but its only a good thing theyre accepting btc now.

i don't think that will affect market because there are not enough people that uses bitcoins and steam, so if we will get price rise because of that it will be small one only but maybe it will increase bitcoin's popularity and more people would buy and use bitcoins, then price could rise by 10$ atleast, but now it will probably rise by 1$ or 2$

I think it is not affected, because without bitcoin steam forum can still be bought and sold items with ease I think. But it is influential to bitcoin, because by then the steam accept bitcoin game that uses steam will buy and make bitcoin bitcoin price up. Thank you

Steam users can be influenced by bitcoin since its new to them and there no doubt that if we can see steam user now using bitcoin, and i am one of them but i use bitcoin as well as dota even if bitcoin is not accepted by steam before and courious mind well really try bitcoin and if they discovered that bitcoin can be profitable to spend time with i think they will spend some time with bitcoins and thats why i can say it can affect the market because people tells the market of bitcoin and the more people use it the wider market and monet flowing will be done with it.
