Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market?

Yeah, and I don't think the steam's acceptance of btc is the reason because of the bitcoins rapid price increase these weeks.

To accepted BTC steam need to consider about it, Steam need to look some possibility before to accepted bitcoin. Maybe they need to consider it from their member's response, or another reason need to consider before accepted it.

They have already accepted bitcoin as a form of payment. This is a known fact.

Bitcoin will be more acceptable and that is perfect for the currency because people with Bitcoin are now holding it also and that should be nice for them.
Because they can even spend it more later in the future and the value will also rise for a long time now.

well there aren't enough steam users that also uses bitcoins so i don't think that this will have huge impact on price,  but yes it could change a little bit actually

and i think it's also good that steam accepts bitcoins now is because it increases bitcoins popularity, so more people will be interested in bitcoins and more will use it

For me, acceptance of steam for bitcoin as one of their payment source, has really big effect in the market, I don't know what forum market refers to, if it refers here in the forum of bitcointalk, if it refers here then it has really no affect. But with the economy of bitcoin in the outside market.

I think if the marketplace seller want to sell their games/keys, etc., they will just have to sell them with a cheaper price than on steam. People will look for deals, so if they can snag a game for cheaper on the marketplace, they probably will. It will affect our marketplace a bit, but most people already sell steam items on here for a discount, so I don't think it will have too much of an affect.

absolutely right, although very good for steam to accept bitcoin in one of the tools of their transactions, it will not influence the market forum, because most likely they will perform like bitcoin payments are accepted there. and perhaps only a few people using bitcoin in steam

It is really nice to see that Bitcoin is becoming more popular and used and that is perfect because than Bitcoin will be also more popular and even maybe also more used all around the world and that is the best thing that can happen.
The bad thing of Bitcoin is that you cant control the value and that is risky so sometimes you don't even know what to do with your Bitcoin because the value is changing.

It is great for people who use steam, but it will also give bitcoin a good name. Since now people see bitcoin is not only used by criminals but also legit companies like Steam.

it's definitely exciting because i know quite a few people would be willing to spend money on steam if it was bitcoin viable
