After a few months I don't think Steam accepting Bitcoin has affected the 'Digital Goods' board in BitcoinTalk.

Prices are still relatively cheap over here. Like GTA V selling for $15 and CS:GO accounts selling for $4.
meh

No as we can see its not affecting the steam market and I also do not think its gonna affect the market of it to be honest.
The fact is that people do not even know steam has the pay method and they are also cheaper here on the forum so its still more attractable here.

I don't expect to go up any way. Steam is a great company with a great service, but it's still growing, so is bitcoin.
Give it a few months and more threads will be popping up.

I think it will have an effect to the market, but not that much. Because steam has many great in app purchases games such as the DOTA 2. Many players are addicted to it and they wanna spend some money to buy an item or for battle pass. Sadly, they are not included in the bitcoin community. They just buy from dollars which doesn't affect the market. But, there are also bitcoiners who plays DOTA (including me) who are earning here and can afford to buy items and the BTC as the payment.

people can  pay their games directly on steam without any voucher so why get bother in digital goods, and also just like summer sale few weeks ago which makes CSGO worth about $4,5 in SEA if i'm not mistaken, and cheap prices on digital goods does make sense because of this

I agree. People can just use a VPN to get the lowest regional price for a game on steam or just buy a key from a third party side which is almost the same.

The bitcoin digital section has many accounts but i have to say I don't see any extra activity when it comes to steam accounts.
Probably it will grow more in a few months since steam is not as big as netflix.

It won't affect the forum market since steam is separated and they only adapt the use of Bitcoin in purchasing items on steam which also a good news to gamers like me, playing Dota and it give convenience In purchasing items to steam market.

Expect it because any user that will try the new payment they see in steam(which is bitcoin) is a demand for bitcoin and thus means it will make the bitcoin's price increase.

The thing is that steam sales here on the forum are rare. But when they actually occur, they sure super good deals that steam or even g2a can't match.

looking for a signature campaign, dm me for that

No people for a private sale is always cheaper then steam. They buy massive copies of games to sell again. Or of you got a free key to sell as well to make a profit.

i think buying massive copies of games doesn't give affect because steam doesn't have any promos which encourage to buy massively and get a discount, even CSGO not encourage you to have more than 1 account

Well steam accepting bitcoins is a good move by steam management since there are many gamers that uses bitcoin. That move will benefit for almost all steam users because of smaller fees on bitcoin transactions.

I think that will help both the bitcoin and steam. If the action can convert 1% of steam user to bitcoin price, that will be excellent.
