Not only that, most of the steam users buy funds from 3rd party sites or from other users, they don't actully purchase funds from steam directly and that is one of the reasons that we didnt see a big bump in the price

Well, as far as I remember correctly Steam acceptance happened in April. Bitcoin price was around $~430 back then.
And then price skyrocketed to $700 in June - sure it was probably mostly to incoming Halving but we can't be sure that Steam factor played a role there.

I love that they are accepting the bitcoin(steam), but its not very popular these days that they even accept it, I think that if it will be more popular it will affect the market on here a bit.
The prices here are still way cheaper..

It luckily never affected the market because it would be bad for us and the sellers if it would, I really think that buying here on the forum is better because its cheaper and feels better..

Yeah, and besides some enthusiast gamers don't use bitcoin as payment in steam. They still uses fiat rather than bitcoin. But in my own preference. It is more convenient to buy steam wallet credits in bitcoins as its fees are much cheaper if you are going to compare the price when you buy a steam wallet card. Maybe because almost all gamers don't know about bitcoin yet that's why they are not using it.

actually the falls and rise in the price of bitcoin world is due o demands in the online bitcoin market . so i think if this new service will hold lots of btc to start deal with bitcoin also then it will give more and more impact on the price of bitcoin .

I do not think that you understood the question to be honest because its about the forum market, its about the market that is selling stuff for bitcoin(games).
It will not affect the market because the games are cheaper here!

I really doubt steam has made any influence into the bitcoin price at those time, as you said it were more the pression of the halving then the steam making anything into it, with that said there are few deals being done here at lending taking steam as colateral.

As we can see it now its not affected and the fact is that it also will not happen anymore because of the fact that the bitcoin has a good future a head.
I think that the prices are for sure better on here than on everywhere else.

Wow, i just heard in this day of the steam account are be able for becoming a collateral for taking loans. I can't take that, it's not balanced for offering steam acc as collateral.

I do not think that steam played a role in that, it was just because of the halving.
Steam did not added something to the price that was back in the days at 700 dollar, I'm pretty sure about that.

sure steam accepting bitcoin have nothing to do with the price rising before halving occur,it was actually because of halving but the price rising right before halving occur so after halving there's none price rising, but i can sure that steam not yet implement bitcoin at that time

I don't see how this could affect the forum market in any way or affect the price in general. Ups and downs in prices are determined by some totaly different factors.

Yeah I am also minded like what you say. But certainly all the increase and decrease of the prices in the bitcoin takes many factors not yet we know for sure, but that is clearly a major factor is the growth of the bitcoin transactions or requests in the bitcoin. If there are people who say that steam accepts btc and will provide effects on market forums then it's something that's less true. Because the forum isn't necessarily affect price bitcoin

I agree it did nothing right now and it also will not affect the market here because the prices are indeed better on the forum than on steam itself due to that it will also not change so that is a good thing.

It will not change, the fact that your are mentioning is right because of the fact the steam games that are sold here on the forum are way cheaper than on steam itself.
I cannot agree more about that.
