Wooo Hooo.... I have a couple of sticks, when I get back Home next week I will get them running. One of them is on an as yet untried Fan Cooled CPU heatsink, so plenty of scope for winding the frequency up.  Smiley

You could use a copy of cgminer folder with a different name for instance.

its difficult to point one worker per stick if they are all on same hub

i guess if you are on windows you can use .//com1 or however for bfgminer, but it will change each time bfgminer is started and its impossible to tell what stick it is..

my sticks are on the R1 and there is no way to run them separate.

perhaps we should think about this

we add all sticks to one worker
user has the ability to set the amount of used sticks in the database (like MHz)

would this be ok?

gekkorun is still BETA and any ideas and suggestions are very welcome Smiley

My vote would be to keep it as single sticks, has worked well for antrun and makes comparisons much easier.

Well you can have as many sticks as you want they do not share work, they process their own shares.

They're managed independently by the software (cg/bfg miner).

So in the end I don't think it makes any difference Smiley

It would work yes, but you won't have detailed statistics of every worker.

I see it the same way. If it's possible, please use one device per worker address.

so maybe that would work:

Put your startup script in a file:

Code:
./cgminer -o pool:port -u username.worker -p password --usb :$1

Save to start_single.sh, then
Code:
chmod u+x start_single.sh

Make the final script:
Code:
NUM_MINERS = 7
cd "$(dirname "$0")"
parallel -j $NUM_MINERS -- ./start_single.sh $(seq 1 $NUM_MINERS)

Save as start_all.sh, then
Code:
 chmod u+x start_all.sh

Run ./start_all.sh to mine.

That's one way to do it. On Linux, you could use aliases too.
On Windows, just start multiple command line windows of cgminer.

@zOU could you separate your miners to one device per worker?

I never used minera, but as far as I can see, this is just a webinterface for managing cgminer and no the mining software itself?
I will post my config and how I set up my linux.
