Wooo Hooo.... I have a couple of sticks, when I get back Home next week I will get them running. One of them is on an as yet untried Fan Cooled CPU heatsink, so plenty of scope for winding the frequency up.  Smiley

You could use a copy of cgminer folder with a different name for instance.

its difficult to point one worker per stick if they are all on same hub

i guess if you are on windows you can use .//com1 or however for bfgminer, but it will change each time bfgminer is started and its impossible to tell what stick it is..

my sticks are on the R1 and there is no way to run them separate.

perhaps we should think about this

we add all sticks to one worker
user has the ability to set the amount of used sticks in the database (like MHz)

would this be ok?

My vote would be to keep it as single sticks, has worked well for antrun and makes comparisons much easier.

Well you can have as many sticks as you want they do not share work, they process their own shares.

They're managed independently by the software (cg/bfg miner).

So in the end I don't think it makes any difference Smiley

It would work yes, but you won't have detailed statistics of every worker.

I see it the same way. If it's possible, please use one device per worker address.

so maybe that would work:

Put your startup script in a file:

Code:
./cgminer -o pool:port -u username.worker -p password --usb :$1

Save to start_single.sh, then
Code:
chmod u+x start_single.sh

Make the final script:
Code:
NUM_MINERS = 7
cd "$(dirname "$0")"
parallel -j $NUM_MINERS -- ./start_single.sh $(seq 1 $NUM_MINERS)

Save as start_all.sh, then
Code:
chmod u+x start_all.sh

Run ./start_all.sh to mine.

That's one way to do it. On Linux, you could use aliases too.
On Windows, just start multiple command line windows of cgminer.

@zOU could you separate your miners to one device per worker?

I never used minera, but as far as I can see, this is just a webinterface for managing cgminer and no the mining software itself?
I will post my config and how I set up my linux.

Ill be here eventually.

just gotta mod one of my 5 compacs with a stupid big heatsink and fire up a separate cgminer-gekko instance for this. its all running on a rPi B and a superbpag 70 watt hub.

my 5 just laze around at 16 ghs each with a 120mm pointed in their general direction. Ill crank one up and point it here.

Here we go:

This instructions may are only usable on a Debian system. Raspbian would work just fine. You may know some parts of what I'm describing here already. I dont want to offend you. Just pick the info you need.

I'm not using Minera or other webinterfaces, just cgminer itself. Bfgminer should work too. Maybe there are some different starting parameters... For connecting to the individual cgminer-screens, I'm using a software called 'screen'. You will find info about screen on Google. I set up all cgminer commands I want to use as aliases.

First, install screen:

Quote
sudo apt-get install screen

Second, create all aliases:

Open the file ~/.bashrc, insert your aliases and specify all the start parameters. My file looks like this:

Quote
alias cgminer-start-g1="cd /opt/cgminer-gekko && sudo screen -dmS cgminer-g1 ./cgminer --usb 1:4 --compac-freq 162.5 -o stratum+tcp://de.ckpool.org:3333 -u 1LF2fmvVCbUV3WqXagf8RMzZHmEUvyfPwH_G1 -p 1234"

[...Removed miner 2 to 5 for better clarity...]

alias cgminer-start-g6="cd /opt/cgminer-gekko && sudo screen -dmS cgminer-g6 ./cgminer --usb 1:9 --compac-freq 162.5 -o stratum+tcp://de.ckpool.org:3333 -u 1LF2fmvVCbUV3WqXagf8RMzZHmEUvyfPwH_G6 -p 1234 "

These aliases will start a cgminer instance with the specified USB devices (--usb parameter) and set up a screen session. Change the BTC address to one of your own addresses!  Wink  Here you have a list in post #1 with the possible frequency rates: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173963.0

Blue:Alias name
Brown:Path to cgminer binary
Red:Screen name
--usbDevice selection
Green:Worker extension

You can print a list of all devices if you start cgminer (with no --usb parameter selected, so that every connected device is used) an press the key 'U', then 'L'.

Now insert all screen aliases to ~/.bashrc:

Quote
alias cgminer-g1="screen -x cgminer-g1"
alias cgminer-g2="screen -x cgminer-g2"
alias cgminer-g3="screen -x cgminer-g3"
alias cgminer-g4="screen -x cgminer-g4"
alias cgminer-g5="screen -x cgminer-g5"
alias cgminer-g6="screen -x cgminer-g6"

As before, blue is the alias name and red the screen name.

Save the file, exit the text editor and execute the following command to reload all aliases:

Quote
source ~/.bashrc

Third, start it!  Smiley

Starting a specific cgminer instance:
Quote
cgminer-start-g1

Connecting to the screen a specific cgminer instance:
Quote
cgminer-g1

Important notes about screen:
If you are watching a process over screen, don't press CTRL + C to exit or 'screen' will pass the key combination to cgminer and it will stop to mine instead of leaving the screen session. Always detach safely from a screen session with the key cobination CTRL + A and then CTRL + D.
Also, don't connect to a started screen immediately. After you started a cgminer instance just wait 10 to 20 seconds before connecting to the screen session. Cgminer has to be startet and initialized completely, otherwise it may crash or freeze.

Feel free to leave your questions. If someone has a more elegant way to do this, please drop a post!
Please consider that I'm not a Linux expert  Smiley

I might move a gekko or 2 over here.

If your using a Pi, install screen as above and then just edit the /etc/rc.local file and add before "exit 0" line

cd /home/pi/cgminer-gekko-rev2 (pi will be what ever user name you set up and same for cgminer, it will be what ever version your using)
sleep 6s (just to give pi more time to be fully booted before starting cgminer)
screen -dmS cgminer sudo ./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://POOL:3333 -u ADDRESS.G1 --usb :1 --compac-freq (what ever you want) --widescreen --worktime -o stratum+tcp://BACKUPPOOL:3333 -u ADDRESS.G1
sleep 6s
screen -dmS cgminer sudo ./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://POOL:3333 -u ADDRESS.G2 --usb :1 --compac-freq (what ever you want) --widescreen --worktime -o stratum+tcp://BACKUPPOOL:3333 -u ADDRESS.G2
As many times as you want, I don't know if there is a limit to where it will start messing with the pi or not?

The pi will start to mine as soon as it is booted or reboots from a power outage (as long as you don't have to cycle the power on your hub after a power outage).

Then use putty to connect to the pi and screen to see cgminer/s.

Hello,

well I've got it working.

although I seem not to be able to attach to the screen session:

zou@brix:~/gekko$ cgminer-g1
There is no screen to be attached matching cgminer-g1.

but that doesn't matter as I've added a specific AP{I port for each so I can monitor them using Cryptoglance

Code:
alias cgminer-start-g1="cd /home/zou/gekko && sudo screen -dmS cgminer-g1 ./cgminer.gekko --api-port 4001 --api-listen --api-allow W:192.168.1/24 --usb 3:3 --compac-freq 300 -o stratum+tcp://de.ckpool.org:3333 -u 1GjdERDYEDQmyoZHnVnshBbVNBckDw4dnj.gekko1 -p 1234"

so I have 6 instances now
1GjdERDYEDQmyoZHnVnshBbVNBckDw4dnj.gekko1
1GjdERDYEDQmyoZHnVnshBbVNBckDw4dnj.gekko2
1GjdERDYEDQmyoZHnVnshBbVNBckDw4dnj.gekko3
1GjdERDYEDQmyoZHnVnshBbVNBckDw4dnj.gekko4
1GjdERDYEDQmyoZHnVnshBbVNBckDw4dnj.gekko5

Thank you !

I get a 'Please provide valid input."error when I try to change my compac frequency to 300Mhs on the page...

edit:

it seems they're all on 300Mhs anyway.
So maybe the command was accepted, or you set them up to 300Mhs already and I get the error because i try to set it to the same value.

anyway, it's all good Smiley

I've tried to change the frequencies, it worked with "1GjdERDYEDQmyoZHnVnshBbVNBckDw4dnj.gekko1" and any frequency.
We will enable more verbose error messages.

The race is on!  Grin

But my devices all are at the pit stop right now  Tongue
Will change my usb hub with a extrem powered one, hoping to get rid of the zombie problem.

Sorry that you did loose your previous bestshare (and first place), but I'm sure you will find it even more interessting with separated devices. It's just much more going on in the standings. Secondly, every time a block is found on ckpool, the bestshare gets resetted and the race starts again  Wink

Ok, yes that could be true. You specified some --api Parameters, what's that for? Monitoring on a different machine? Looks interresting.

Ok, yes that could be true. You specified some --api Parameters, what's that for? Monitoring on a different machine? Looks interresting.
Code:
If you start cgminer with the "--api-listen" option, it will listen on a
simple TCP/IP socket for single string API requests from the same machine
running cgminer and reply with a string and then close the socket each time
If you add the "--api-network" option, it will accept API requests from any
network attached computer.

You can only access the comands that reply with data in this mode.
By default, you cannot access any privileged command that affects the miner -
you will receive an access denied status message see --api-allow below.

You can specify IP addresses/prefixes that are only allowed to access the API
with the "--api-allow" option e.g. --api-allow W:192.168.0.1,10.0.0/24
will allow 192.168.0.1 or any address matching 10.0.0.*, but nothing else
IP addresses are automatically padded with extra '.0's as needed
Without a /prefix is the same as specifying /32
0/0 means all IP addresses.
The 'W:' on the front gives that address/subnet privileged access to commands
that modify cgminer (thus all API commands)

--api-port 4001 : changes the default port 4028 to something unique
--api-listen allows this instance of cgminer to be queried
--api-allow W:192.168.1/24: allow anything on this network 192.168.1.* to send command to modify cgminer: change pool, restart, stop,... ==>> W = Write

so I can monitor all my miners using cryptoglance.

Hey, everyone!  I love the antrun, having fun watching that, but all of my gekko sticks run with "free" electricity and as such I use them to earn a few satoshi here and there.  If I take one out of that setup I will point it here for sure!

so I can monitor all my miners using cryptoglance.

I've done the same thing with all my usb miners, except I specify only one IP address that is allowed to make api changes because I'm paranoid like that.

Looks like a block was found this morning so everyone's bestshare was reset. That adds a kind of fun twist. Sort of like a nuke that starts everything over.

Of course the bestever value is still there. But since that value could span a period before the race, maybe that shouldn't count.

In my case I used a new BTC address for the race, so all of my stats are new instead of historic.

Hello my friends,

minibit pushed v2 of gekkorun.de
it's live now

Changes:

- Added detailed stats for all devices of one racer (click the icon next to the flag)
- Highlight all devices of one racer (click on the name)

User-Stats are really cool :-)

Have fun and spread the word  Grin

Hi fellow friends,

minibit and i are working behind the scenes for a nice badge-system.
for this - we need some suggestions and feedback to our first ideas and if you want more badges or some are obsolete or something :-)

Our first ideas:

Quote
Antrun/Gekkorun Badge System
==========================

Highest Bestever
----------------
Will be given to the Racer with the highest 'bestever'. This badge is not round based and will change on new values immediately.

Most Devices Badge
------------------
Will be given to the racer(s), with the most devices registered.
If multiple racers have the same amount of devices, then all of those will get this badge.
This badge is not round based and will change on new values immediately.

Fastest Racer
-------------
The race with the highest 'hashrate1m' (average of all values of the round) will receicve this badge.

Lamest Racer
------------
The counter piece to 'Highest Hash Rate'. The racer with the lowest 'hashrate1m' (average of all values of the round) will receicve this badge.
Maybe too offending?

Most First Places
-----------------
This badge will be given to the Racer with the most rounds finished first placed.
If multiple racers have the same amount of wins, then all of those will get this badge.

Donator
-------
Will be given to all racers, which supported this run with time or money.

Please use the vote here - it helps us a lot - thank you

I can recommend the offical german reseller for germany and EU.

You can place there your order for 49,95 (incl. Shipping & Handling)

Only what you have to do is, tell him my name (Andr) Wink

I have bolted my Compac onto a CPU cooler, board above it is a fan Controller. I am connected direct to a PC running cgminer, just too many many problems controlling it from the R1,  and have spliced a separate 5V PSU into the feed so we are not current limited.

I have been running at 375MHz for 24 Hours now without problem, but get some HW errors at 400MHz so need to change the value of the series resistor on the Core Voltage pot as I have run out of adjustment and need to go above 0.75V to carry on up in frequency. Temperature is at the set 35 Deg C and there is fan speed in hand so that should not be a limiting factor.  Smiley

Smiley

Btw: I had the same ideas  Wink, but just want to realise it later at weekend, cause just looking for taking my R1 to the limits  Wink

Yes the USB meter may be a problem, it's at 2.1A at the moment, however it's a nice to have item rather than essential, so can easily be taken out of circuit.

Hi Rich,
yes I agree , its a great little but useful tool Smiley!
Ive used it for a "solar powered only" project for a Z3735F based Windows-PC last year Smiley
(...and it works great Smiley. )

But back to ther topic:
My R1 runs @475MHz stable with no (or very rare) HW errors @0.935V, but takes avg 34,45 Watts from the wall (excluding fans and peltier power).
That means, it takes nearly ~ 6,886A@5V.
So I think maybe it could be a reason for your prob, if you got at last only 2.1A...

We may be at crossed purposes here? By problem I meant that I might get to the limit of the USB meter? It's fine at the 2.1A being taken at 375MHz but may not at higher voltages / Frequencies?

However I have not tried above 400MHz yet as I began to see HW errors, so until I change the series resistor on the Voltage pot I cannot try any higher. I had planned on removing the USB meter anyway as I was worried about voltage drops in it's sense circuit & tracks etc.

Will probably give it a go Tomorrow, but have got to remind myself which resistor to change & what to?

Ahh, note sure maybe there is a misunderstanding Smiley
What I wanna say was, that the USB-Meter could be a limiter if you try to screw up the Vcore and the freq....

@Resistor/Pot: not sure, I have not checked it so far...
I guess it works in the same way like our Antrouter TPS53355 Mod?
So I think, you have only to put a extra 10k pulldown resistor from the pod to ground to increase the Vcore limit...
Ill take a close look to it tomorrow...

Hey andy, can you say how much energy do you have to put into the peltier element? Is this power efficient?
Do you have to put more energy into the peltier than into the gekko?   Cheesy

Hi minibit, thanks  Grin!

@Peltier:
yes, thats really an issue ... Undecided
The power consumption is depend on which kind of Peltier-Modul you use..
There are a couple of different sizes, Cooling/Heating power and prices Wink on the market.

Ive used the most available and inexpensive 40x40 Peltier with 12V and 6A max
Its hard, cause  its finally a max. Powerconsumption of ~72 Watts, but as used in my setup and regulated via controller
my Powermeter shows me max ~ 50W for Peltier & Fan together.

But it was only a first try, there are smaller Peltier-Modules with lower consumption (and higher prices Wink) on the market.
Next step will be to try it with a more efficient Module...  Wink

On the other side I have digged up an older project of me, where a miner could be completely supplied via a selfmade solarpower solution Wink
So Ill take an other R1 of me soon to upgrade this and give it a try for a "Green-IT nature-friendly mining solution"  Grin

Cool  Smiley
Yeah they look really expensive. Conrad has some, but maybe they are cheap quality?
So the cooling capacity of a peltier element is the difference between the hot and cool sites? Say, if my Peltier has a temperature diffeence of 60 C, that's the cooling capacity?
I'm new to peltier  Wink

I like the idea of a mini solar array. For a single Gekko or R1 it's not that expensive. But the learning potential is huge.

@Cooling-Temp: Yes youre right Smiley.
In a easy way you can say, its the max possible Temp difference between both module sides...

@Solar: ohh, thats not a big thing Wink.
Not too much to learn for Wink.
Ill post asap the solution, pictures and HowTos...

here's my setup:

6 compac sticks in a BFL 30Ghs enclosure
3 sticks per heatsink
1 superbpag switch
1 fan controller + 2 temp sensors

I will probably remove the right hand side cover so I can slide the right fan further away, I'll add a wire grill Smiley

nice, looks really, really great Cool!

Two questions about Smiley:
Did you also use heatsinks on every backside?
And what was your maximum (stable) Freq / Hashrate you ever reached with this setup?

Thx,

No heatsink at the back (although I have some).

I've never tried over 310Mhs.

I've not tried more since I got the new heatsinks.

I'll probably give it a try at some point, but so far i'm quite happy Smiley

My modified USB extension lead that I had patched 5V into burnt up Yesterday, so ran overnight on the 2nd Compac at 200MHz. Have just done a better job of connecting the 5V directly to the contacts on the USB socket so should be ok this time.  Smiley

Good news is that the improved 5V supply seems to be allowing operation at 400MHz without HW errors with a Core Voltage of 0.78V which is the max I can get to without changing a resistor. So will run at that for 24Hrs and see how we go?

Well things seem quite stable after a few Hours at 400MHz so I have pushed on to 425MHz, still at 0.77V core voltage and no HW errors. I briefly tried 450MHz but the Core Voltage died completely so that needs to be investigated.

400??  Blimey, im just managing to get mine running at 260m and being stable lol  already got it running on a usb Y-splitter, contemplating getting another one to daisy chain it so it picks up 3 ports on the hub. Reckon that will make much of a difference?

What really matters is how much W each port can deliver.

5V
USB2 is 0.5A: 2.5W
USB3 is 0.9A: 4.5W

Depending on your vcore, the stick can draw a lot.

The 7 ports superbpag is 5V/12A: 60W !

As I use 6 sticks, I get 10W/port.

I max it at 300Mhs....

Well its only a 2.5 amp power supply to the hub. But last time i measured to amp draw it was 1.2 amp at 250m. All 6 ports (4 data and power, 2 charging) are rated at 500ma when its connected to a computer. Alternatively ive seen a 12v usb buck coveter down to 5v and 2A rating. I can hook that up to my breakout board on my psu and running a decent supply from there.

I don't bother with a hub. I have just taken a USB extension lead and cut into the 5V supply to the Miner and connected a separate 5V PSU. That way you can supply as many Amps as you want.

Next move is to make a small resistor change to the miner to allow the Core Voltage to be increased above 0.8V and then we are onward and upward to 500MHz.  Grin

i wonder if there is a brand of hub out there with an easy trace pattern on the board that can be cut and have a 6 pin pci-e socket soldered to it.
that way you can plug in an psu and have up 150w

suppose you can make something, im not quite that good with crafting electronics on a breakout board. but its most likely doable?

I did it nearly the same way...

I soldered an Power connector for my 5V/10A supply directly on the Gekko PCB (see picture below) and insert an diode in the 5V+ Line from PC-USB cable (to prevent a backflow from PS to PC)..

Running now at 450MHz Wink

It takes about 20 ~ 21 Watts

If you want to use a hub I would just buy the cheapest USB 2 hub you can find and cut the 5V trace & inject your own 5V. I have a couple that I randomly bought off ebay and both of them have an easily found and cuttable track in them.

The sustained higher Frequency makes it to Number One.  Grin

Rich

or not :p

Yes RichBC G1 did good in the last Round, but seems to be dragging it's heels in this one. I must get round to squeezing up a bit in frequency, but need to change a resistor value and want to fit a multiturn Pot for more control over the Core Voltage first. My 5V supply and Cooling should take a bit more, but may also then need to change the inductor?

I moved my 6 stick to my RPI.
I had to use a cheap USB2 hub as bridge as the superbpag 7 ports doesn't work directly on the RPI (I thought it would)

Hey andy, can you say how much energy do you have to put into the peltier element? Is this power efficient?
Do you have to put more energy into the peltier than into the gekko?   Cheesy

i have a peltier waiting for my compac, with several variants.

i expect to kill a compac (ill sent it to sidehack for an autopsy and of course pay for it)

ill try for early june when im on vacation. ill keep y'all posted. it will probably be entertaining.

Hey, sounds great Smiley!

I got my Antrouter R1 (also based like the Gekko on a single BM1384) running @475MHz with a peltier solution too Wink,

If you are interested in, here youll find some closer informations about: My Peltier-cooled R1 Mod

Btw, today I reached 487.5MHz and ~26,5 GH/s Smiley

You can use it as a controller but I don't know if it provides enough power to the stick.  Might need a powered hub plugged into the ant.

Even with external Power I have now stopped using my R1 as a Controller as above 300MHz I have had problems with keeping it running, wheras with cgminer on a PC everything fine up to 425MHz and I think will go higher once I up the Core Voltage.

My miner RichBC G1 offline at the moment as I am away from home & had to take the PC with me..... But.... I will be back next Week and we will be moving onward & upward.  Smiley

Hi Rich, Ive removed sucessfully the Vcore limit yesterday Smiley!
Now I increased it up to 0.900V Smiley
and its possible to reach higher values..

Very Nice. I will go back to my R1 once I have the Compac sorted. Which resistor did you change on the Compac to up the Vcore Voltage?

One thing I am finding with the Compac is that it seems a bit fussy about starting hashing, sometimes have to go through multiple plugs & unplugs and restarts of cgminer. However once it's going will run for days without a hitch?

The onboard 10k pot goes from ground in chain with a ~10k resistor to the TPS51219 voltage regulator.
alle what you have to do is to remove the 10k res and replace it with a 17k or 20k resistor Smiley.

Here a pic, which resistor you have to remove/replace:

Same things happens to me  Sad!!
The problem seem to be, that vcore drops down for a moment after starting cgminer...
In the most cases, the vcore vary after start and than it goes to zero.
I have to plug out and in, and fiddle around with the vcore value and after a lot of unplugs an replugs
it begins to hash.

But when it runs, than its perfect, stable and w/o any probs!
No zombie or other issues...

Little Hint: to prevent overheating of TPS 51219, I've added an small Alu-Cooler on the backside.

andY thanks for the info, and glad it's not just me getting things running. Yes I also see the Vcore drop to zero and never recovers from the without help. I assume that some sort of current limit is tripped in the 51219? I think it has various different modes it can be set in but need to read the data sheet. Will retry at lower frequencies and see if it's frequency / current draw related, which I suspect it is?

I am sure I read somewhere about cgminer ramping in some way to prevent this problem?

Yes had wondered about some additional heatsinking so will add something when I find time for a play.

Yes I think, thats the problem...

If there is a way to solve it with a cgminer ramping, that would be great!

I (novak) have written a cgminer driver which enumerates the compacs as expected, removes the error, and ramps up the clock slowly to prevent spikes on USB power.  My custom cgminer can be found here:

I too am using that version and get the problems.... but just thought I would mention it. Also I wonder if the ramp is designed to prevent problems of current taken from the 5V / Hub and we are seeing problems with current taken from the Buck Converter? Although I would have thought a ramp would have helped both.

Another question is that I have read that the ramp is as long as 4 Minutes and yet my Vcore without load typically sits at 0.8V and as soon as the hashing starts properly it drops to 0.77V there is no gradual change, so am not sure I am seeing the ramp?

Either way it is worthy of further investigation or perhaps a question to novak?

I thought that moving my compac to my RPi would fix my problem but it didn't.

After 2 days, I can't reach my RPi on the network and I have to reboot it and restart my 6 cgminer instances.

Logs shows no error...

hmm, thats strange,
I got this similar probs with my Ant R1 @ frequencies more than 400MHz.
it stops w/o any error, i have only to restart cgminer (not the whole Antrouter R1) and it runs again..

But my Gekko runs stable @450MHz w/o any issues.
Ive used Novaks custom cgminer win32-Version on a Win10-System (Asus eeePC) netbook.
(The stops you can see in my stats@gekkorun are only manually Wink)

Yes it's strange... they're headless, so I have no choice but power off/on.
I had the problem on a gibagyte brix/Ubuntu and the rpi/raspbian.

I have a lattepanda running win10, maybe I'll give that one a go.
Although there's  more logistics as I have to relocate everything.

Rich
Hmm, maybe its an idea to ask novak.

The TPS51219 is able to manage about 20A, so I think its not the bottleneck/reason...
But I discovered, the regulator runs suspiciously hot w/o a sufficient cooling..

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT: 05-24-2016:

After thinking a while (and do a little math) Roll Eyes, I see the TPS could be the cause anyway...

The Gekko has a power consumption about ~ 21- 22Watts@450MHz
If I deduct the power loss of all "Non-ASIC"-Components there could be finally a power consumption about 18-19Watts:

19W / 0.9V = ~ 21,1A

So I suspect very strongly, the buck-converter could be the cause anyway...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The datasheet offers also a 1Volt and a 1.05Volt stable fixed mode.
Maybe to switch it in the 1V fixed mode could be an option,
with a little drop while running, maybe down to 0.95V it could works?

Is it possible to add more than 1 miner?  I have several running at different MHz?

Btw, little hint Smiley:
you can choose yourself the right clockspeed at the antrun site for your R1 Smiley
antrun.de -> scroll down -> Change your frequency:  -> insert "BTC_Worker",
choose frequency and hit Update Smiley

Cheers,
andY

I've tried this a couple of times and keep getting an error indicating that I have to provide valid input. I've tried the usual formats for the BTC address and worker, like so:

18mztP2vq8u79oBPjFvTrMpy53mKHiFQNt.gekko1
18mztP2vq8u79oBPjFvTrMpy53mKHiFQNt_gekko1

When I specify either of the above valid inputs plus the frequency of 325 MHz, I get the error.

Was I helpful?   BTC: 18wQtEDmhur2xAd3oE8qgrZbpCDeuMsdQW   LTC: LbqLtkZ6wTSpwHHuv1tG4J7tHajGdH5QFB   DOGE: D9R5ySAP2DARpxuNKd7hN7ANmqFiGwB9G6

Not sure what happens,
but Ive just tried to change your clockrate, and it works perfect:

Ive just changed (for testing) your clockrate:

18mztP2vq8u79oBPjFvTrMpy53mKHiFQNt.gekko1  to 437.50 MHz
18mztP2vq8u79oBPjFvTrMpy53mKHiFQNt.gekko2  to 437.50 MHz

You can have a look at gekkorun, its updated now Smiley

Thanks andY. I just tried changing my clock rate again, using exactly the same inputs, and it worked fine this time.

Maybe there's a problem with setting the clock rate the first time, but once initialized it works for that point on?

So I bought another gekko (bitshopper.de) to run along with my rboxs. Its a newer one (#100000566) so hoping I can play with the freqs more.

As for my first gekko (also bitshopper.de #10000031) shes now being retired to the gekko race  Grin

Will only be running stock usb power on and off as Im not having my laptop on all the time (hence the purchase of a raspi to run to the other stuff Wink  )

So sign me up and lets see how the old lizard gets on Smiley

So does the gekko run get reset like antrun every time a solo block is found or does it just keep running?

The bestshares will be kept for ever,
but the current share will be reset after a solo block was found.

Hi all

Sorting the table on all columns is already on my todo list. Further the sites need some upgrades, especially for scaling, as more and more people are joining the race. As my calendar is still full, I'm not able to tell you a release date.

Happy racing!

P.S. Also I didn't forget the round based badges  Wink

You can add usb :1 so it'll take only one asic, but you'll have to run the others manually. See page 3 for the command line (I think)

The cksolo pool servers were down for a while today, so that resulted in all of the best round shares being reset.  Game on!

Hi Mates,

after a long idle-time we want to announce that we will stop developing antrun & gekkorun

if anyone wants to use the sourcecode for own project - just message me or minibit

Thank you for all your support.

The pages will remain online until the domains won't renew.

Have a great time!

Aww damn well that's a bummer, is it operating cost for the domains that is making you guys want to stop?

These two runs are really the only reason I even run my R1 or the single gekko stick any more, if these fun runs go away I think my miners will, too.

Thanks for setting this up and keeping it going for as long as you did, maybe we can all pitch in to keep the domains up and running.

Hi Mike,
one of the domains are mine Wink, and I has a very close contact to minibit and ammi84....

Im  just thinking about (and discuss it at the moment with il0vew33d ) to maybe take over this complete job of keeping this two runs alive and administrate it.
But its not sure...

But every kind of support of everyone is very very welcome Wink!

Cheers, andY

Thanks for the hard work! It was a fun project.

Bad timing for me because one of my sticks is in first place for the first time Grin

But I guess the site isn't going away immediately so I can revel in my glory until I get knocked out (which will likely be soon; it's not that great a share).

Hi edonkey,
I'll administrate both sites (especially the user management ) in the future too,
to keep it up!

But I'm afraid, in lack of time and skills, you should not expect new features soon.
