I use it as a currency (quite frequent purchases as compared to before). This is how it was meant to be used anyhow.

I suppose I use it for "both" because I use to buy stuff occasionally but I also hold most of my bitcoins waiting a huge price increase . Joining Bitcoin world 2014 makes you feel that you are late for the train honestly , so I don't want to sell until I make decent amount of profit .

I use BTCitcoin as both (currency and investment). Mostly I use BTCitcoin for receiving from the services I provided and also for the services I acquire in the online world, with the addition of purchasing some products as well but I also do happen to have saved certain amount (untouched since I bought it some time ago) that I'm hoping will give me good amount of profit (someday) in terms of the amount I paid for it.

I am using bitcoin as currency, I am earning that from internet and I do not readily change that earned amount to fiat but they are remained in my wallet and whenever I need to buy something , first I try to buy that with bitcoin and when it is unable to buy that with bitcoin then I convert that to fiat  and spend .

You can't really use bitcoin as a currency everywhere .Most of the services accepting bitcoins are online .Apart from that,there are very few stores accepting bitcoins onsite.I do use it for paying for online stuff,to be honest,sports betting and  traffic exchanges.

Not using them for investment at the moment.Invest in what ? Probably having bitcoins is the best investment with bitcoins apart from daily expenditures.

I'd say as a currency, as most of the time I use it as a currency to make purchases online. But, I do use Bitcoin as an investment too, though. So, I'd say both. No offense. But, who cares? LOL. I mean like why are you interested to know if whether people use it as a currency or as an investment? This is like asking people 'do you use your dollar as a currency or investment?'. :O

Mostly as a currency because around 70% of my earning use for trading and for online shopping to buy some stuff, now we have a lot of stores who are offering so many goods to buy with bitcoin and rest of the amount keeping into safe place as a investment when it will go to mainstream, bticoin is more than just a currency for me and secure investment for brighter future.

The topic is not about investing bitcoins into something else but using bitcoins as an investment into itself.Investing in a ponzi will come under "using bitcoins" to profit someone else which is off topic to the post I believe.

You are right doing, most of the members in bitcointalk will you reply that they are saving their bitcoins because now halving is coming and the price of bitcoin is increasing very fast so now the time to save bitcoins not use the investment.

both, but to use it as a currency you're very limtied as it is right now, i'm waiting for betetr time and for better value, as investments also i don't like to invest my coins, but i prefer to invest my time

I'd say both. Tho I don't really invested on bitcoin, I'd say that I have been saving bitcoin as an investment for the future. I also use it daily in purchasing mobile load so for me it is curreny. It could even be more convinient for me if there were more options for me to spend it but unfortunately there is not much.

I know the halving is coming so better is for me save my bitcoins, becasue i want to get profit from halving, and now bitcoin is going up so that time to save bitcoins and wait for halving, but i also use my bitcoins after halving in investment.

I also use both. but I prefer to investment, because I worked to grow bitcoin, because as currency is still limited.
