Don't I know it It is just an expected thing at this point. I mean if I wager anything at 4 or more games then I expected at least one of them to fail, but I still do gamble on parlays anyway, even though I know I will lose. Wonderful game again from these two teams, I got what I wanted, lots of goals, but I actually still lost my bets as I went for scorer (Nunez and Haaland) and somehow it seems Nunez missed 3 goals, all in the same way, missing the same side of goal all 3 times. Haaland got on the scoresheet but it seems de Bruyne is back to his best, like he wasted all his bad form on his country lol.

Apart from wanting to see Manchester City win the Champions League and English League this season, it seems interesting if Manchester City will also get the EFL cup later, I'm happy to see last night's match when Liverpool were defeated by Manchester City and advanced to the quarter-finals as well as getting rid of Liverpool as the defending champion.

At this point I truly believe that City players just "throw the ball in, haaland must be there somewhere" and just trust him to score lol. It was a good game, Haaland kept going from where he left off and scored another, and City won 3-2.

I wagered on Liverpool to win and even though I know that they have been not so great this season, I believed maybe this would have been an important win for them. In any case, it's fine and I could make it back quicker this weekend anyway, I do not have to win every bet, and this was a very very special one. It also proves the point that City could win the league as well, outright bet is still City for me, so it should be good when league restarts.

@notblox1 normally I would say that Manchester City wouldn’t bother much about winning this competition, but Pep maybe motivated this time because he knows that there’s a chance he may not win the league title and champions league is unpredictable hence he may try and win this competition. Lastly Manchester City do have a good squad so even if they rotate a lot then too they’ll be able to put up a good lineup, however it’s way too early to predict that City can easily win this cup.

I agree with you, and also i use you to quote the other guy, Man city its "stronger" with Halland and its between "" because they dont play important matches until now. And they are at the same pace like the past years.

That's both true and also not. There are other managers and clubs that spent more than City did and they still failed. Just this year Chelsea spent 200+ million already and they are not showing it, if you give Pep 200+ million, he will make your club better and he would make it better without doubt, not slightly bit better, you would see how much better you are.

So you are both right and wrong, it is true that money helped him be this good, that part is true, but it is also true that not everyone can do what he does just because you give them money neither. That is why it's clear that we shouldn't really be judging his success just based on money.

Pep has won 4 out of the last 5 Premier League titles. There is no doubt he is a world class manager but he always joins the team with the best players & biggest transfer budgets. He has spent more on players than any other coach in Europe since he became manager at Man City.

He has also failed to win the CL since he was Barcelona coach. He’s failed every season to win the CL with Bayern & City despite splurging billions on players. City’s uber rich owners employed Pep to win them the CL & until he does it his time as coach can’t be considered a 100% success. Mancini & Pellegrini won domestic trophies with City, the Sheikh wants the CL. Will Pep fail to deliver it?
