If i were them i'd rather stop it temporarily, so many uncertainties right now. Bring it back when everything settles back in and gets to normal.

The NBA has suspended the season until further notice.  MotoGP has cancelled all races scheduled for April, and is extending the season until late November.  Now the EPL is getting antsy.

Although the effect on society has been fairly surprising, I don't think it's such a bad thing people are being so careful.  My daughter and son planned a trip which required a 5-hour flight, but I'm relieved to say they postponed it.  Since they're adults, I really had no say in the matter but that didn't stop me from expressing my opposition.  The one time I'm glad the media is in full-on chicken little phase.

From what I've heard the rate of new cases in China has been steadily dropping, so hopefully we've seen the worst of it, and things will be getting back to normal before the end of the month.

Funny how Europa league matches are still going on as just watched an english premier team play this morning with a 5-0 score for Manchester united.
This is going to terrible for all sporting events all across the board but they need to limit the risks of contamination until a cure can be found.
Reminds me of when the swine flu was going around in 2009. Atleast they had a cure for it since it is a variation of the spanish flu.

The world has absolutely gone crazy in the last couple of days. I've been on a work trip and it has been cut short and time for me to head back home. Bit of a shame as I was going to surprise you with pictures from the IPL Opener in Mumbai... Mumbai vs Chennai in a corporate box!! anyhow, the game is going ahead, but in a empty Cricket stadium.

Can't believe the Australian F1 officials & Government canceled the F1 the day before it was meant to start.. the number of teams and machinery that was moved into Melbourne park was not cheap!
Anyhow, lets see how the F1 pans out.

As its hard to gauge at the moment, Steve's Multi for this weekend is not going ahead. Apologies for those who were interested.

That is ok.We need to stay isolated at home and move out only if necessary.Where I live now the work has been moved completely online remotely from home while from today until Monday is a total stop to car circulation and also public transports.Open remains only pharmacies and bread shops nothing else.

In this context I can understand F1 decision to cancel Australian Gp because the risk of spreading the virus in such event is high.Also Tom Hanks and his wife are isolated in an hospital in Australia as they declared they were infected with corona virus.

By that logic I still could only think of if you need Visa to go to UK where you live, that's an expense, the fair from your house to your airport will probably cost something, and when you get back to your own city from airport to your house as the same.

Those are literally the only things I can think of as "will have to pay" stuff like totally have to pay those things type of level, otherwise like I said there is literally no bounds to what you can do, you can literally buy anything or go around do anything you want and spend ton of money if you want but for the poorer people like me this is literally a reward that says "you will spend less than 100 bucks and have a roundtrip fun to UK and back" which could very well be superbly insane to consider how we can probably never get that ever again.

Oh my,,, I hope they get well, this means they have families who will also probably get it. I think at this rate everyone in the world almost has a big chance to get the flu virus,,, but by then we will probably have built up some strong immunity and or a vaccine.
