when i press "max bet" it shows 0.

Then it is probably problem with the bet itself. It is not available anymore or something like that. Max bet will put the max amount you are allowed to place on that choice and it isn't connected with your actual balance. For instance if that was a champions league match max bet would enter the amount of few BTC regardless of your account.

Over 12.5 goals and corners, which Hertha booked a bit over (10 corners 4 goals) so I'm pretty pleased with myself.

the problem seems to have sorted itself out. for a while i wasn't able to place bets on seemingly any e-sports besides nba and football.

I know that there's no official announcement about this but I'm pretty sure that Sportsbet.io is making some improvements/planning some in the future behind the scenes. They always listen to their users especially if it is within their capacity. They've been improving many things in their website and many have users witnessed it in the past few months/years. They'll surely do that in their Poker page. We'll just have to wait for it.

Chill brother. I don't think I was saying any of that, Sportsbet brought poker because there was demand. We even asked for a Steve special and we got it, so they'll definitely listen, and I'm sure all your comments have been brought on board.

And you're absolutely right, there's no reason not to improve. I don't think I ever said bad poker is fine, I think what I can get now at SB is fine, and would actually prefer seeing more improvements to their sportsbook first.

@figment: seems to me just a simple case that those lines are filled, bookies couldn't take anymore bets.

Looks like the Bundesliga Special today hasn't settled yet, so this means the Special actually didn't count 2. Bundesliga? I thought it would have settled thanks largely to the guys in 2. Bundesliga, who got ten goals between them! I should probably make sure to understand the games properly first before taking specials next time haha, expecting 3 goals in all games in 1. Bundesliga was a bit of a stretch maybe. First half of the big boys took a damn long time to start kicking, but every match found at least one goal, though.

My MM is a bit messed up too because of 2 draws and 2 wins I should have picked (Leverkusen and Hannover), but anyway, should be a pretty match coming up now. The way the media are talking down Frankfurt, surprised odds aren't 20/1!

1 of 2 bets came through and paid out more than 5:1. i'm gonna see if i can parlay this few mBTC into something on another 5-6 matches tonight.

But I have to say that watching football without any audience is really strange to watch.

The weird part about not having the fans there is not actually the sound of it, I feel like without their sound its a lot better, I can feel like I am actually there and hearing basically everything, hell sometimes you hear the kick to the ball and that is just amazing. However the look of no fans is a bit weird, don't get me wrong I would take this over fans any day, I know that without fans there they are not selling tickets and that is bad, however one thing is for sure, without them there the game is better sounding to me and looking bad at the same time.

Maybe if it was on some training pitch where the size is correct but there is no place for fans to sit, that would have been the perfect scenario. Now there is this huuuge ass stadium with 50k+ empty seats, and that looks a bit weird.

Maybe you are right but I always think that top teams make enough money just by competing while lower tiers teams make money however they can.
Anyway, if you bet on underdogs you even have an edge if the game is fixed so then you don't care about that.

I bet on DOTA 2 (OG screwed me very nice today, if they won I would have hit big) and CS:GO (Complexity came trough and kept me on positive 0 balance), sometimes on LoL as well. Rest of the games I don't touch since I have a rule to bet only on the games I can watch live.

true, that's an angle i hadn't even considered!

anyway i'm just dipping my toes in---never been a huge bettor and pretty ignorant about e-sports. i am just surprised how long some of the odds are given what occur to me as relatively high variance matches. eg an underdog won > 1 in 3 past matches against the favorite but the book has him at almost 6:1.

Maybe it is, but I believe they got caught because a lot of people watches that matches and I guess somebody is controlling/overseeing them as well, while lower tiers game get less audience, control and money and therefore invite shady characters. I could be completely wrong that is just my hunch and small bit of experience from low tier tennis tournaments and our local low level football league.

It is for the sake of controlling my gambling addiction and maximizing my profits. I believe you have to watch the team regularly if you are placing large sums of money on them. They have to pass "my eye test". I play high stake and low stake ticket every day. My high stake ticket has a lot of self imposed rules like above mentioned + no odds lower than 1.4 + no betting on teams I support.... Low stake (~1$) can be anything I stumble upon and that one is just for fun. I sometimes do live betting but not so often.

It's my concern in e-sports all along (matchfixing) especially when you keep hearing about it. Here in Asia there are so many examples and stories, of course people who know they will never go to the big leagues, if someone offers them online a bit of money they are happy to take it. You don't even need to get your team to agree sometimes you just go rogue on your own.

Well eff me. I already thought the Special was dead in the water when we had one game left and only 9 goals. With over 16.5, we needed 8 goals to win, and Bayern closing half time at 2-0 meant we needed 6 goals.

Did I know Frankfurt would get it to 3-2? Was I half excited? I was, course it also caused me to lose a clean sheet Bayern parlay. But to lose with one goal? Bookies do know what they're doing!

Hi Guys,

I had a shocker on the weekend!  

I tried a few more Bundesliga multi bets and all of them got rolled!  

I then tried a 3 leg multi on Estonian Premier League Football and the 1.25 fave lost 2:0..  

Oh well, need to regroup for the next wave of bets.

This week it seems the Australian Rugby League is back up and running.. Im not too sure on some of the form here.. but live Rugby League action will be good to watch..


If anyone has any tips, let me know! I can't wait for the Australian Football League to come back.. I have better luck with them..
