We just gotta hold on for couple more weeks, all the leagues are in discussions about restarting, I think I am convinced nowadays that they will be all back this summer, some of them will be back in May like Bundesliga might, some of them will be a bit later but I 100% sure that the big 5 or 10 whatever you wanna call it leagues will be back this summer. That means during the summer when we usually have a lot of time, we will be able to gamble a lot.

Chess can't be done. I used to play email chess, and that was pleasant right up till you go to competition and then suddenly everyone's a champ!

I expect alot of crazy people would start using alts in this freeroll or some people could probably not care about this because this is free and they just start going all in every single round.

It is not a secret anymore when it comes to a poker freeroll with a nice prizepool then some people will try to abuse it by creating alts in order to get a better winning chance. I hope sportsbet is able to minimize this kind of abuse, so all registrants are real player with single account only so the freeroll will be fun. I have experienced many times in freeroll but most players are sitting out which was not fun at all.

Alts are actually a known cheating method and as long as admin could modify their system to restrict them, you can't stop all of them at all. However going all in all the time and playing like crazy because you are spending zero money is not really that big of a deal, let them do it as much as they want to, eventually you will have a good hand and you will end up winning.

Also, if they are actually playing that recklessly that means they probably do not have a good hand most of the time, which means even with some semi-decent hand you might get in and take all of their money, you could do the risk and reward ratio of the hand for yourself and if it gets too much you can always stop and not raise or call, but I like those people since I could take all their money with just 8's or something.

Time to share a fantastic tourney which I had yesterday in 1000 μBTC free roll. I had to give my all and prove that I was patience but at the end I indeed lost my patience and ended up 2nd. It was like 3 hours long round. I was playing on my phone since from my laptop I can not access the app. On the phone the fonts and others graphics are so small that your eyes starts to ache at some point.

But end of the day I enjoyed the round. It was full of excitements and I think as I am moving forward I am learning tricks like not to go ALL IN even if you have QQ, AK, AQ, AJ, KQ, KJ or QJ. These does not guarantee that one will win. The table may have better pairs.

 

And on the Wednesday, at some point I lost my mind and gone out of the table unfortunately but experience was nice though. Thanks Steve for hosting the tournaments on every Wednesday. May be some day we both will be in the same table.

Don't worry guys , I didn't do well in the tourney as well but I got in top 40 which is pretty great  but I only played the 1st one and I haven't knew about the second one... . I've missed a few weeks as my cat passed away and my family is still recovering from this shock .... Anyone knows when the next tourney will be available ? Last tournaments there were about 120~ entrants, I think. But to be honest, the field was fishy as hell last Wednesday. Sometimes half of the table was "Sitting-Out" or went "All-In" every second hand.

There were 149 entrants and I atleast found 5-6 inactive players at my table for the staring 4-5 levels. Yeah really frustrated me with players who right after they sat on the table after inactivity and then goes all-in .  It is really getting annoying now 

I hope sportsbet will do something about it and will be really glad if sportsbet puts some restrictions in the next one as they find suitable.

It was the same story at every table , for example my table had 7 inactive people , and the only guy I was playing against was shoving all the time cards.
I think I got kicked out first  , I had AQ against his 7-3 . Needless to say I lost.

This is usually the strategy of people playing with many alts , they shove every hand until they get lucky and double-triple their balance . And only after they play somewhat decent.
I wouldn't be surprised if people join this tournament with 5-6 alts in order to improve their chances .      And gameplay quality wise , unfortunately it's very low ,  until 60-80 % of the players are out. 

I don't know, being inactive all the time and being active just once are different stuff, so there could be maybe a resolution that punishes people who are inactive for long periods of time all the time that doesn't affect the people who are inactive for just once or twice. This poker tourney could last for hours on end, which means people could have needs, you could literally just need a break for no reason at all other than being tired.

So basically just focus on punishing people who are constantly inactive, comeback play a bit maybe even win a bit and go inactive again, but also do not punish people who are rarely ever inactive but take some breaks for human needs that they might have. Finding that sweet spot in the middle is quite difficult I know.

Chess could be done in a similar fashion that is going on right now with the chess community, not slow or unlimited time but having a real hard timing period, if you give people 5 minutes total to play (10 would be more awesome) they are going to basically either play properly like always, or they are going to cheat by opening up a really great chess software and make your moves against computers moves and whatever computer returns with they will return with, so basically make it a you vs a really really good chess software.

I don't know how mad I am about that, I rather play against a really good PC instead of a human, I do not think that humans are worse, sure they are still cheating but I will take software competition over human any day of the week, they are rarely ever ready for unexpected moves so its actually easier to beat a computer even if its smart versus an expert chess player.

And don't worry these things don't happen exclusively to you. I bubbled the Sunday Million on Stars (215$ buyin) a few weeks ago with AA vs 82. Its needless to say, that I broke my computer mouse after that suck-out.

Poker is kind of like that, there is really not much you can do about it. I remember I was watching a youtube video (I can't remember the link now) that showed the most unbelievable hands that lost, so the point of the video was to find hands that are super awesome that eventually lost to even better hands.

I remember so many hands that I would literally put my house on the pot if I had that hand and they ended up losing (hence why we could understand I don't play too much poker anymore). So those kinds of stuff happens, 4 aces could end up losing, I remember that video had couple of 4 aces that lost, as long as you do not have flush royal there is really no way that you won't lose at all, of course it all depends on the cards but every single hand outside of flush royal could end up losing if they are unlucky enough.
