Check the screenshot of the email that's posted (doesn't link to the promo page, so not everyone would check it), TOC doesn't mention the bet has to be on Southampton, email even says "It's as simple as that". Sportsbet.io's post doesn't mention the draw thing either, or the Southampton bet.

So do I and everyone else as well however it doesnt really matter. First half and the score is currently 2-0 so there is a high chance that manchester united is going to win this game, therefore everyone should be refunded. I dont see how southampton might ended up getting a draw after conceded two goals in less than 40 minutes

Indeed the odds for Southampton to win is kinda great, but most likely players have no chance to win it and will get the moneyback promo. Why you dont let us to choose any markets on the match as we wish?

Yeah the odds are good but the location is neutral so there's a chance for southampton to take this. Also southampton beat higher rank teams in efl like arsenal , liverpool. This match is 50-50 imo.

They are scummy when relaying back matchback bets.
They are in UK it seems. So they are asleep right now.
Just wait and email their support.io for faster results because chat support is useless in grading these promotional things and will tell you to email their promotional team instead. So will save you roughly 16-18 hours if you do that instead of having support person on chat to tell you you would need 2 do this in the end to get your 100mbtc back from them.

Sometimes the moneyback promotions terms and conditions are really tricky in some way, I personally have to read it slowly for a couple of times to understand how the moneyback offer works, but I guess if any player never read it thoroughly and bet on the draw between Man U and Southampton match, then your money is gone.

I am preparing a scam accusation report against Sportsbet.io for this weeks promotion.

Based on peoples opinions on this I will either rescind my complaint or consider following up with the relevant gambling licensing authorities and pursuing any legal options.

Having spoken to several customer service representatives regarding a refund of the: "Real MoneyBack Promotion EFL Cup Final" promotion I haven't gotten anywhere.

This complaint is two-fold.

Firstly:

I placed a 100mBTC bet on Man Utd to win in 90 mins first. I then realised I made a mistake and the promotion specified the bet had to be placed on Southampton to win in 90 mins. I wanted to double check with support that if I placed another bet on Southampton now that it would qualify. I did this and they confirmed this to me.


However I am told now that my bet didn't qualify.

Secondly:

The terms dictating this are dubious at best.

3. MoneyBack pays back the bet stake up to 100 mBTC and applies to the user's first bet if it meets the promotional requirements.

"if it meets the promotional requirements" since it wasn't placed on the correct selection it did not meet the promotional requirements.

Also

1. The offer is valid on pre-live single bets of minimum 10 mBTC placed on the specified market/s and/or selection/s.

"specified" the selection specified applying to the promotion was Southampton in 90 mins.

After following up with Live Chat as per there general terms and conditions section 5. Complaints I have sent an email to complain. I received a similar answer stating T&C's. See screenshot below:

The reply did confuse me because of this sentence: "Please be noted that your second bet did not qualify for MoneyBack because it was the first one that did, even though it was settled as a win"

Hang on a sec, my Man Utd bet didn't qualify as you can see from the promotion details above it was only bets on Southampton to win which qualified. So what do they mean? Is this even admitting that if my first bet didn't qualify for the Cashback (which it didn't), then my second bet on Southampton is indeed valid

I have used Sportsbet.io for a long time as a user and an affiliate and have only had good experiences there. It's only 0.1 BTC but I am disappointed at how this is being treated.

Please give me your thoughts on this.

Edit: The issue has been resolved. The support team is actually pretty efficient in handling issues and complaints. It is just too bad that I have to talk to them often.
