So basically you're complaining that 40-50 people play these freerolls , if possible sportsbet should host exclusive freerolls just for you , so you can make sure you win the prizepool alone . And because there are some regulars who play it for you it means they're bots ?

Did you watch the game? I managed to find a stream and Shrewsbury was destroyed by the kids. It was obvious in the first 10 minutes it will be a one-way game, but it was against Villa too (especially at the beginning) and we lost that one 5-0. I was actually thrilled when they scored because I wanted to cash out and still thought kids would turn it around but VAR disallowed it due to a pass that didn't have to do much with the actual goal play.

People who lose on poker will always claim that there was something else going around because poker is not a provably fair game.

On dice games or plinko or any other technical stuff there is always a provably fair system that casinos can show to gamblers that they don't scam them because they don't have to scam them thanks to house edge since they will win anyway, with sportsbook the teams play, if the teams sell the game themselves (like how there was issue with Serie A about 10 years ago or so where Juventus and all dropped leagues) that is something no sportsbook could ever deal with, that is individual issues with the teams, which means there is no way any sportsbook could scam customers on sportsbook as well.

But, when we talk about poker, there is literally hundred ways people can claim a foul play and that is why poker websites do not work well on crypto world.

I do bet against my favourite team, but it has to be a very valuable bet - just a bit of value won't make me do that. It's kind of strange feeling to have your heart split in two while watching. On the one hand, you don't want your team to lose, but otoh you would like to make some money.

I know people that would never bet against their team like you, but I also know people that always bet against their team. They hope for losing that bet then, because it would mean a win of their team. If their team doesn't win, they will be a bit sad, but have some more money in their pocket as consolation prize for the teams loss. So, whatever the outcome, there is something to cheer about. 

In general, you should bet, when there is value, but not always easy when feelings are involved.

 Most of the time teams we support are not really that bad neither, I mean there is always the option of not betting on that game very easily as well. I am sure all teams in england has some sort of supporters versus the other nations of the world where big teams have fans and smaller teams have very little amount, yet that doesn't change the fact that a west ham fan could play for 8 games a week without ever having to bet on west ham for a whole season. I personally support a team thats not even available for betting (lower league) so I don't have this problem but even if I ever could wager against them, I totally would. No point on being a fan and being an idiot at the same time, support them but also know the likeliness of them winning or losing.

I saw Denver Nuggets being lead by a hurt Utah with more than 15 points and I knew that is hard to win in Utah especially when they defend a lot at HOME but then I remembered that Utah have 4 consecutive defeats and they morale should not be on top even with this high advantage of points. That would be difficult, that's for sure.  I could never bet against my team, the conflict would be too much for me to bear.  But this year has been easy enough on LFC fans, no?  If you had 1BTC to bet on each LFC match this season you probably would have won over 7BTC so far.

Damn mate, but why? Why betting an entire month salary on a game ? I mean yea , somehow you were right to have the guts to bet against Liverpool as they don't chase this CUP as their main target is clearly UCL and EPL and also they played with all the young ones on the pitch.

I chase great odds too but I don't think I could ever bet big amounts...even if the game lets say its "safe to bet" but then I remind myself that there is no such things as SAFE BET.
I did a lot of tickets betting against my favorites team across the sports...from football to basketball to tennis to racing...and yes..when I bet against my team it wins and when I bet on them , they lose.

It was a great odds, and Shrewsbury probably feel they should have won it but actually they did not manage to create chances (I do not know I read the match reports). I wish my Spurs U23 would play like this,,, only problem is every time we have someone really good we build the team around him like Kane and I think more and more we need a full team approach like Liverpool.

I do have that feeling of "it's ok if my bet loses, it's good for my team" but yeah, can't ever bet against my team, EXCEPT when it's like really value odds of, for example, scoring under 2 when they've been scoring an average of 3. You're absolutely right we shouldn't be betting emotionally but that's always going to be my problem!

Which is part of the reason why I seldom make big money bets involving my own team. Almost always the beer moneh!

Though lets imagine the balance you must hold to be ballsy enough to place a 1btc bet on each game , especially against city  . But yeah , if anyone would've actually done it , it would have brought a pretty impressive profit .

I was thinking actually for future seasons start , to try something similar , take the favorites , from other leagues though , like Juventus , PSG etc , and see if I'd have a basebet each game during the season , on the favorites to win , what the profit would be at the end.
Take Juve for example , out of 22 games so far , they have 17 won , 3 draws and 2 losses , but lets put it at 17-5 . A bit lazy right now to do the math  and check each game's odds , but most likely would be in profit with a basebet for each game  on their win.

Brighton was around 1.20, Everton was around 1.60, Wolves 1.30, Sheffield 1.30 too, so would even be some more profit. These are all closing lines though, but those odds against Wolves&Sheffield might have been up there some days before kick-off as well.

There are always some teams in every league every year that are profitable to bet on every game. The markets often take some time to adjust accordingly, because they believe this is just some run of good form and are not sold on this lasting for a whole season (or a very long stretch). I wouldn't dare to say that Liverpool is overperforming, but it's insane what they are doing this season.

Otoh there is also teams that underperform like crazy and you will lose a fortune betting on them regularly, hoping they will be able to turn things around. Sometimes things are just not clicking and it's hard to find a way out of that hole you digged yourself.
