Southampton are completely safe from relegation already now, so Liverpool should not be meeting a team desperate to do anything to win, which should be a positive sign. Not that they will not be playing well,,, but they will not be tackling all around to injure people.

Arsenal need to win and I think they can do it but the worst for them right now is Europa, which is not the worst thing in the world.

It is not just about Liverpool losing or not, of course Liverpool will win, but they need to win by a big margin to get that advantage back from City, in case it's somehow tied (maybe like city loses and Liverpool ties on last game? But anything that doesn't have City win on the last game, will cause Liverpool to win for sure. However, the last game City will play, will be against Aston Villa, 13th in the league right now.

Let's be honest with each other and say that even the West Ham game was a big shock, and considering they are much better than Villa, if that was a shock, then Villa should be even easier. It's City's title to lose since Liverpool got a tie against Spurs, if they didn't do that, they would be ahead of City after Southampton game.

I saw interesting promotions in Sportsbet website and I was hoping that Arsenal will win against Newcastle tonight in fight four spot in Champions league, but they are losing with two goals few minutes before end.
Newcastle didn't have any real motives to play for in this match, except home crowd in St. James' Park, and this season they had good results at home.
Arsenal will have to win against Everton in last round and hope that Tottenham will lose against Norwich...

I think no one will fault Klopp if he makes changes and saves the best for last. I believe he said in the last press conference, if City to lose to West Ham, then he will think. That almost happened,,, but City now just need to win to retain the title, I would say Klopp is not counting on that to happen.

As for Saints drawing or winning, I hope it does not happen because then we do not get a tense final match.

As for Arsenal losing, I was happy we won against them but not at all happy they lost to Newcastle, even if it helps my team.

Klopp will rotate for sure, after all we played 120 minutes on Saturday. He already said that Salah and Van Dijk will be rested, Fabinho is unavailable.

I expect Tsimikas and Gomez will play instead of Robertson and Trent, with Matip filling in for Van Dijk. In midfield we will probably start with Henderson, Keita and Jones, and in attack with Jota, Firmino and probably Diaz.

It will be a team strong enough for the win, I expect us to put the pressure on City until the last game.

Very good efforts from Southampton against Liverpool but they couldn't hold on with the lead they had in first half.
They didn't have any real motivation except they played last match in front of home crowd this season, and Liverpool had to win to stay in race for the title.
Liverpool needs to win against Wolves in next round and hope that Man City won't win against Aston Villa.

Liverpool were deprived of some of their star players in the Southampton game. But they still kept their hopes alive about reaching the title by winning the game despite getting behind first. Even though it seems difficult for Liverpool, I still think that they have a chance for the title. Maybe I might be emotional as the first game that I watched in a stadium live was the Champions League finale between  Milan and Liverpool in Istanbul (I was 9 years old ).

Now it's all final day drama for Liverpool and Manchester City, but even West Ham and Manchester United also both have to win to see if they get either Conference or Europa football.

Then we also have Arsenal who must win, and Spurs who must win, otherwise one of them misses out Champions League.

Then we even have relegation battles all on last day with Leeds, Burnley, Everton all fighting to survive.

This is a big end day coming.

It's always great to have one last match to decide the winner. It's cool to know that there is a chance that you could win so much in a single year, and yet to know that EPL is probably out of reach.

Aston Villa of course will give all they have, they are not going to make it easy for City, they will not just crumble and let them win, but at the same time even if they give 100%, City is not the type of team that will lose. If only you guys didn't had a tie with Spurs just recently, that game was the one that decided it all if you ask me. Last night was a big fun, and what a goal by Matip as well, let's see what will happen next week.

As I already wrote in other thread this one is very tricky to judge, especially Villa motivation.

Steven Gerrard is Villa coach and I am sure he would do anything to take the title from City and give it to his beloved reds.

Grealish has a contract clause were Villa gets 18 million if City is champion.

Who knows how will they handle that opposing motivations and against City they have to be of one mind to have any chance.

I was thinking this could be fake news but then there should have been some official statement from Villa or City saying that it is bullshit. Since there wasn't such statement I am treating the rumor as truth.

Was talking with Trofo about this in one of our pool threads, and I know so many reasons exist for Villa not to do their best against City including that 18 million bonus. BUT I still feel that in EPL especially there is something that small teams feel in their bones about making a great memory, not necessary to lift trophies, it's not about that, but to have a final say in the outcome of the title.

Nothing is more perfect for them to sign off this season by taking the title from City and giving it to someone else. Remember also, this damned City took their favorite player away from them
