Steem newbie here but I am thinking of investing.
Can I find somehow some statistics about how many people actually pay to read articles? Seems to me that everyone is getting money from this. In the end yes, maybe the people that are losing money on exchanges are the ones paying for the articles that they never read obv. But in theory if this is a viable project some users should be paying to read. I know I would never pay to read and many others would prefer to have ads on the side.

I don't think you understand how Steemit works. Best to read the whitepaper at steem.io before you invest. |

Site doesn't seem to be working very well today. I notice that in searching why I can't submit a story today all the ones that come up in google have been voted down to invisibility due to "low ratings." Something tells me perhaps Steemit has an enemy beyond the naysayers that says its not a good investment. I hope it succeeds. Maybe people don't even have the social graces for many new ventures to be engaged by the general public.

I get an error every time I try to log into steemit. I entered the wrong email the first time now I cannot go back and change the email. Is there another way to participate with steemnit? Must I get a new reddit id just to participate? Thanks
