The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the
first distributed timestamping system.

Weak hands are selling just like there is no tomorrow i think it is much better to place your entry in the deep so we can absorbed those huge dumps and let them cry out loud after the price bounced back and start to skyrocket again weak holders will be eat alive into crypto world.

Do you guys think DECENT is going to be a threat to Steemit? I was just wondering because somehow its also into contents. Seem like its also receiving funds through their ICO so the token must have value once its released.

Guys, sorry, if my question sounds like a bit of noob one, I am more of a miner, than steem user... The question is - what are the easiest methods of working with Steem funds on your account (I mean - to transfer funds, convert steem to vests, request withdrawals etc)?
I always used the standard way (downolading sources from github, compiling them, then running the steemd daemon on a PC together with cli_wallet), but I wonder if there are another methods others are using.
Many people are working with STEEM, but I doubt everyone is happy to deal with compiling sources and running the steemd (which is a real resource hog), so there should be other methods too?
Sorry again, if I missed something, I feel the answer to my question should probably point to something obvious...

All this you can do at https://steemit.com using wallet functionality: Thanks a lot! I suspected it would be that simple... But I suppose this will need the account's full WIF key..? I remember when I tried to log in into Steemit.com using my account's main key, website rejected to log me in, and suggested I use posting-only key. then I was able to logging using "posting" key, however no financial operations were allowed then. I will try once more, maybe I am missing something...

Thats a bold statement. I think its a great concept. Fine... Its not traditional mining but its at least opening up crypto to the end user who are clearly and in majority more socially inclined than technically inclined. scam noun 1. a dishonest scheme; a fraud. I don't see anything dishonest about the steemit platform. Good luck to you though.

Just look at the founders wallet - throwing 110,000 STEEM on the exchanges... and thats just ONE wallet actively powering down.
Why would anyone buy Steem on the exchanges? Even the founders are powering down and make +15k$ a week from a single account.
