Congratulations devs, you killed Steemit. After hard fork 19 platform is officially dead. Nobody can vote, whales only vote for themselves and each other. People who write quality blogs can't even be noticed. You need to publish HF20 asap if you want to save the platform.

So, does the Windows last version, "13" correspond to the the current "19" on the other github.  There is a huge time gap, it seems that whoever was doing the Windows wallets just bailed.

I assume without any more information, since Steem info is all over and all different, that the Windows wallet latest "13" is not going to sync with the current chain.  Anyone that has the same info or different would be appreciated.

I think whales have stopped voting that is why the profits are lower now. After hardfork my payout/article grew to x10, I used to make 4$ /article, then after briefly, I made 40$/article.

Now I make 10-15$/article, it's still better, I still make 3x more, so the HF19 was a success.

People need to build up followers, that is how you make money, have a lot of followers upvoting your posts epecially now that their vote has more weight.

Will never deal with this currency again. There is no logic in its rises and falls.

Again, nothing particularly different from the rest of crypto

Actually there's a logic. Whales dump the coin they get for free. People who don't know Steemit platform but see it in exchanges buy the coin. They regret and hold or sell for loss. Cycle continue with new people. Polo price is more than Trex, some people think arbitrage is a good idea but they don't know Polo deposit/withdrawal is not active.

Polo deposit/withdraw has been active for a few days.

Most of the early whales have already dumped.

Your comment suggests STEEM is nothing but a one way downward trend but that is wrong. It is up 20x from a few months ago, and the market cap recently broke the ATH and is still reasonably close to one.

As with all coins profit and loss are possible. Traders should be informed and trade with care.

Actually as more whales dump mostly middle class people now buy in. I rarely see now people with over 100,000$ accounts, but I see many people with 30,000-50,000$ account who most of the time just bought them recently.

So new breeds of like medium fishes coming into the ocean, they hold the coin for a mid-long term trade in my opinion, while the whales are actually in for it longer, most of the time they just power down and send the money to an alt -account for security reasons.

So the STEEM gets distributed more equally, even though whales might control more accounts so the ownership is still tight.

I'd expect more selling from newbies who just earned 50$ and want to cashout to see if they can. I don't expect that much selling from whales though.

Hi. I am checking if Steem would be compatible with the upcoming Blocknet decentralized exchange. I have looked at your github, but cannot figure out if you support BIP65 (OP_checklocktimeverify) and have a bitcoin stock JSON RPC API?
Thanks!

Steem has nothin to do with Bitcoin, it has it's own blockchain, the Steem blockchain where witnesses are sort of like the nodes.

Check out how it works:

Steemit users still growing despite price stagnation. Also pretty interesting, the Steem price is holding strong despite the massive crash in other altcoins.

Looks like this Steem Power lockdown feature is very handy in a time of crisis to remove volatility from the price. I must say the Steem founders are geniuses, they know how monetary policy works optimally.

Steem had the first dev team that was adept not just in developing a wonderful social media platform, but they also had deep knowledge in optimal monetary policy.

well steemit is growing with 5000 users per day as I heard from a dev. so they might be up to something. and sometimes project needs some time until people trust it. it's there for a year that means it's not going anywhere
