To Gamble or To Invest?

I've done pretty good investing in startups but that takes quite a bit of research.  For every startup or crowdfund that does well there are 1000's that tank....I've done pretty well playing poker too but for every winner there are losers.  Investing IS gambling and one needs to build a solid skill set before diving in to either of those ventures too deeply.  Do what you're best at and don't rely on anecdotal evidence to make those decisions. They both require specific skill sets and they both have a real element of risk.

I am seeing that investing in a gambling site does not require too much skills to be successful, apparently gambling sites are profitable so there is nothing to worry on that, maybe we will just hard to pay attention on the reputation of a certain site so we will not be scam.

I agree it is just like a matter of you are going to be a stock holder but letting the gambling site borrow your money in able to add to their funds so that they are going to keep on operating. So if you want to gamble and invest at the same time then this is going to be a good choice to you that you are going to make your hobby as your investment.

i think that putting assets in gambling is also investment. if  you are good in gambling mean if you have good experience and if you have good skill of gambling they you can really make good amount of money from gambling and therefore you should go with gambling, but if you are interested in any other type of investment like you want to invest in alt coins then you should invest your money in alt coins.

Actually research can help a bit but in the end it all depends on the luck and how things will eventually turn out and you can't predict that so always keep in mind things may go in the other direction

If I were going to place a wager on a football game, I would look at the statistics, the home field advantage, the roster, the weather, the injury report,...etc before I decided to lay my points or submit my slip.  The same with an investment; I would look at charts, graphs, quarterly reports....etc.  Doing one's research is always wiser than just picking a random selection because often times the market makers are deceptive when placing their positions.

however you can not force someone who did not like to gamble and not everyone like to gamble.
but i believe someone don't need to like investment to do invest , so in this case investment sounds better option for most people.

Yeah its better to invest your money although it has also risk the chance of earning is high than to gamble your money. just make sure that the investment company is legit and not a ponzi scheme as we all know you cant gain anything in that.

Maybe for gambling, researches are not possible but for investment researches definitely will help in greater levels. But I agree, both in gambling and investments, the could not predict the future as these two are highly risk involved businesses. Investment very rarely changing into gambling, but investments are not that much dangerous as gambling.

Gamble some for fun but invest big. Joining some promising altcoins on their ICO seems a good one. You have the bonus already. You can hold it and wait until it reaches at a higher price or just trade it right away since you already have the bonus from ICO pruchase.

Investing in altcoin ico seems to be a good idea, but it's really hard to trust new altcoins. i would rather invest in different gambling sites.

A new coin has to be unique somehow like Ethereum with alot of utility and development behind it to really take off and draw in new people besides speculators.     People really over use this term but a ponzi scheme fails mostly because the product whatever that is has no greater use,  if you consider real investment dont be biased to your own viewpoint.   The product, coin etc must be a useful thing to somebody who doesnt even want to be interested but whose life is made easier by the services it can offer in contrast to those already available in the world

I would gamble because I love the fun in sports gambling, maybe when I will be able to accumulate a great amount I will just invest then.

But you know that how much gambling is risky for you? you can loose your investment. And if there is a competition between gambling and investment, i will choose investment because gambling is too much risky and winning chances are very low so choosing gambling will lead you towards a big loss so  i would say if you want to loose your money within hours, join gambling

If he has any skill on sports betting, making profit out of it is completely possible, so his idea is not totally mistaken as long as he knows what he is doing.

I don't think anyone can earn money in the long run just only based on skills in sports betting. You also need a luck to win always so it is not a good way to grow your money but sometimes you can bet for fun on sure matches to enjoy your success. To grow money investing is always good compared to gambling.

Investment is better than gambling no discussion there but there is no doubt there are skilled persons in sports betting earning their living that way, they are few but they exist.
