Yeah, no, don't gamble. Fastest way to lose all of it and I'm sure this guy knows that gambling is terrible because no-one gets 12 BTC and doesn't know that gambling is a terrible thing for him and a waste of money most of the time.

Investing it would most likely be best in a mutual fund of some kind, one's that is reputable and isn't just a startup from somewhere.
