You'd know the answer to that if you read the thread.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

For all of those who don't have time to read the thread: No, no one has gotten one and they are a huge scam!

Hi! I'm sorry but due to so many request local pickup has been closed. Let me know if you still need your miners via the postal service. Thanks! Howdy, you all! I'm sorry, but due to so many request for blow jobs, I'm all outta breath and my purdy mouth's now closed. Let me know if you need a hand job. Mulțumesc! K!öszönöm. Thought I better correct that before somebody calls me out on it. I must have had some Romanian chick on my mind when I made that error. ...And her legs went on forever, like staring up at infinity...

It took a while. I'm not sure Tom is a scammer but he sure manages this situation in a very bad manner. I managed to get a single reply to an email where I advised him to be more transparent about refunds after he recovered access to his account here. It clearly wasn't a priority for him... And although I'm one of his very first ASIC customers I didn't get any BTC refund. WHY IS THIS PRIMEASIC CLOWN NOT INCLUDED IN THE SCAMMER TAGGED ARMY YET? Or any of the other ones, like lightminer or that russian asic miner?
Probably (and hopefully) because they didn't manage to scam anyone yet

These scams are pretty transparent to us, but we are not really the target. The target for most online scams are people who poorly have english as a second language. They cannot read through pages and pages of of a forum rebuttal to the initial post, but they can grasp enough of that post to believe if they send bitcoins to a certain address that they will get a magic money box. These scammers rely on the inability of the reader to fully comprehend what is being said, similar to the "Xbox box" ebay scams.

I'm shocked that people took this seriously enough to make a thread this long.
Any word on how many people they scammed? I'm sure they separated at least a few suckers from their money.

Weren't they accepting PayPal or something other than BTC? I vaguely remember something like that, but can't remember for sure. Also, did anyone figure out the address and do a driveby? I'd be interested in what they found...
