Lets us be true to our self, that bitcoin can not reached that 4000$  after halving,or even after 10 years ,bitcoin price will only 2000$ and down in my opinion
I really want the Bitcoin price to be at $4000 because that is a really good price to sell some Bitcoins for.
But if we are going to be realistic I do not think that the price is going to be that high.

I dont think this would happen after the halving only because the halving does not even affect the price ofd the bitcoin it will only affect the miners .

It will take a long time to touch that price, and definitely not possible to achieve after the halving, as we haven't reached to $800 yet, so $4k is too high to expect.

I think it will be hard for bitcoin to reach that because you can see now that the halving is near and the price doesn't reaches up to $900-1k per piece so i think that expectations will not happen but for the next halving it will not be hard for bitcoin to reach that because after the next halving (after 4 years from now) the stocks will be fewer than what we can get from now so it will cause for a very expensive price for bitcoin.

IMO it will still rise again this time before halving but there's a possibility that it will be stable to it's price now. Lets just wait and see what the future have in store for us.

People expect too much from the price to happen in such a short period of time.

The peak to $790 some days ago made people go nuts.

They were only focusing on the price going up while the price was due for a heavy correction.

And as you see, the correction happened, making a lot of people here unhappy.

In previous halving price moved $10 to $1000 then dropped to $200 & steady for a long time
So, growth = $10 X 20 = $200

Simple calculation

After this halving price will go $200 X 20 = $4000 ?

 Huh Huh Huh Huh

I don't think so bitcoin price will reach 4000$, If it happens then it take a very long time !!

What i'm sure is the price of bitcoin will increase when the halving come. But, the bitcoin's price is decreasing right now and maybe someday the price can reach up to $1000, not $4000.

I think personally that before and after halving, there will be no significant change on the price of the bitcoin because the traders and consumers already anticipated it months before the halving time. No one knows, maybe some big names already bought some BTC last August when the bitcoin hit $200 mark.

There is. Did you see those chinese investors who try to hold most of the current bitcoin market capacity? Once they dump what they invested in bitcoin you will see how price goes down drastically.

We all know that the big drop in the Bitcoin value was related to some Chinese operations back in mid 2014 and the same happening today to the opposite side. Same in bitcoin gambling market, China is an important player and will remain.

When price crossed $750 last week I thought that now $1k is easily achievable, but present decline indicates that even $1k is difficult to achieve and $4k seems to be out of the box now.

$4000 bitcoin price is like a day dreaming option. It cannot be possible anytime this year. Price reached 750$ but now decreasing. i think if we managed to rise bitcoin price again to $750 it will be a great achievement. Halving is very near now and we are not seeing any good effects of halving.

Nicely said the cause of some volatility now is people selling now their bitcoin that's why we see some dropped sign.
However the halving will take a good effect especailly in selling of bitcoin in my opinion. The price of $4,000 seems to high maybe around $500-800, that is reality.

No everything is not ok at a moment, we are hoping to see the price of $800 now and its around $570 so its a terrible scenario and I think price will go below $500 in next few days.

the halving will not only affect miners but it wil affect everyone and especially the price of bitcoin, as after halving the supply of bitcoin will be reduced and the demand will be higher so in that case the price definitely increases.

It may not hit $4k, but it can hit $1k for sure though since we already half way there.

And it really falls upon these exchanges that really make it easier for a normal person to get in bitcoin without putting too much thought into it.

Like this scenario: http://qz.com/713528/paypal-is-warming-up-to-bitcoin/
