Bitcoin price will reach $4000 after halving ?

about 1 week halving already happened .but yet been no movement bitcoin prices .i feel pessimistic if bitcoin will touch 4000 USD. it will be difficult. it would take a long time to reach this level.

I see no reason for bitcoin to go upto $4k USD anytime soon.

The halving has already completed and the price has reached $570. $4k price is not a distant dream though. Wait for another 3 years and you may see it touch $4k USD.

If the block size is increased to 2 MB or higher, there will be good user expereience. the price will be higher.

Probably not in the 1000s though. We might see 20 dollars or so or maybe if bitcoin is volatile at the time the we might see some stability. Even when the next halving comes i doubt we will get to double what we are now. i think now is the time when everyone can be more sensible with their predictions. At peak the best we are ever going to make while bitcoin is still alive will probably be almost 1k. I doubt we will go over again imo.

what makes you may think that bitcoin prices could fall to the level of $ 20 but I am pretty sure that it is still far to the highest price peak of bitcoin in my point view to hit $1000 is possible maybe in last year we could see bitcoin reach that's level.

There is still a $300 gap from 700 to 1,000 so you should stop hoping too much on this. The last time we are trying to approach $800, there were alot of sell order trying to take profit from the price pump and resulted in the current price, I cant imagine if we are trying to get to $1000

this time the rise is going to pass $700-$800 more smoothly. because it is only a $150 rise to reach the $800 mark. so it is so much easier.
you can't compare this rise to the last one because the last rise started from a lot lower price and the rise was already too big to become stable but this time the $650 was stable enough to let the rise happen faster and bigger.

Its going to take a while for lower supply to greatly effect the price.   Most supply comes from the market not the solving of blocks I think

In previous halving price moved $10 to $1000

From what I remember last time, it was 200 or so then fell back to 100 or so and it got real quiet for a long time, the whole summer.   Then the autumn it lit up all of a sudden and went parabolic at the tail to 1000 area

Just going to four figures now would be a barrier level as so many have noted it from the last big rise.   You will have a few who have been holding and then sell when the price goes back to where they bought all that time ago, not that many but its that kind of deal that makes any progress more hesitant on 2nd try.  We still have ghosts lingering on the order books, come 2017 we'll blow the dust off and we'll see better how it can accumulate momentum or not!

I do observe it too that the price of bitcoin after halving remains on $600 bracket and it didnt even touches to 700 mark. In my own perspective the price of bitcoin would slowly move this last quarter of 2016 or either on 1st quarter of 2017 . Still dont have idea when and what price it would rise but im sure of this thing million of  bitcoiners witing for that event.

For people who are experience already they know that halving effect will not affect overtime, only those newbie think that after that halving they will easily become rich. you are right. if it really reaches $ 4000, should it occur years after 2016. I also felt it would not happen this year, because everyone is waiting for the price of bitcoin rose after halving, but it has not happened so far, and the price of bitcoin is still stable. people waiting bitcoin prices as high as $ 800- $ 1,000 this year, but I think it will happen before the end of the year.
