I do not think that the price will reach $4000 this year. the halving will not have the same effect as the previous one. so your math does not have to make your speculates accurate. reducing the supply by the halving won't affect the price except if the demand rises.

It's believe le that bitcoin can reach 1000$, there is prediction for that from some of my friends who are more involved in Bitcoin business. But 4000$ it is looks a bit crazy.
It's gonna be interesting to hear other's people opinion about it.

The maximum price that we can expect after halving is $1000, and even if it touches that price it won't remain stable for long time, in long run we may see the price of $800. |

The maximum price that we can expect after halving is $1000, and even if it touches that price it won't remain stable for long time, in long run we may see the price of $800. It was quite a miracle the price kept itself kinda stable above the $700 mark. Once the dumping started, you could see how week the support is, and how much panic was going through the market. That just shows that people were not comfortable seeing prices that high. I think it's mainly due to the fact that the price increased way too fast. |

yeah no mathematical formula that can predict when halving the price of bitcoin? because it depends on the demand bitcoin that time? and every person probably would not know how much demand bitcoin now or then? so they will not likely correct accurately predicted bitcoin prices will rise to $ 4,000 |

I do not think so that it can reach that price in short and specially after halving and current price fluctuations prove it. I share the same sentiment with you. $4000 is too steep a climb for something that is below $700 presently. It might reach $4000, but not in the near future. Certain factors have been affecting these wild swings and who knows what the future events that could either propel or crash the price. |

im not sure im still have bitcoin if the price reach $4000 because my plan only $1000
so if bitcoin price reach $4000 maybe i just have a few sathosi.

+1 for this. Yeah its too much to get as High as 4k maybe a half after a few more years, and it will depends in the investors to get as much as high of what you think. But dont lose hope about this thing maybe in the future we can achieve that price. |

You can have another source of income here in bitcointalk by joining signature campaign and also doing some altcoin trading. I think doing some altcoin trading will help you a lot for achieving that 100 btc until 2024  . |
