It is always possible but we need to wait for a long period of time before we can see it, with the current price of bitcoin it is an increase of like 700% and that would not happen in a short period of time. We have to wait for that and while we are waiting we need to invest regularly.

it is not only the halving that can increase the bitcoin price. but also there are many other things that can affect the price in a good way, and the most important one of them is the adoption.
if more people start using bitcoin and they start requesting different services to add bitcoin payment tot heir service then bitcoin price will start rising up a lot more than halving ever could rise the price.

Its never easy to achieve that price as $4k is too high price and it may take a decade to achieve that price, and that will also depend on adoption level, if adoption is massive then it will take price higher.

I do strongly agree with your statement since bitcoins price didnt even pass the $800 mark then it hardly impossible for bitcoin to reach $4000 price  as you see the rise and fall of bitcoin as of now. Its really hard to tell  how does it move it upcoming years to pass.

There are lots of desired targets at below $4000 so even for many years it won't happen. Also no wants to buy bitcoin at $1000 rate so every possible thing that will bring down the price is expected to happen while there was a big price increase.

The timing is very important, if the increase will be slow, steady, and consistent the investors would think that this is due to the demand of the users ad that is a good way to buy bitcoins as the price will be expected to rise. With $4,000, that amount cannot be reach easily as we are still in the young age now and may in the next 10 years we can see that.

I'd rather think there are no investors, first and foremost its the real users of the coins that matter.   You can only invest in something which actually going to be useful, is bitcoin useful in 5 years from now ?   I do see its importance rising as US dollar is tied to politics and the debt issues of just one country of its origin, the USA.   So bitcoin is useful globally to avoid this politics self harm to every user of that currency, I hope bitcoin can avoid politics and damage by its proponents.    Where as Dollars are biased, it has no choice but to serve fiscal policy of the next president and so hobbling the other 5 billion people in the world who are effected but have no influence

I think it's entirely possible that speculators fueled this rally, and that we could continue to experience a continuation of the 2014 bear market.
