I can see that happening, Fabregas is still a really good player but Conte doesn't seem to favour him at the moment. The Italian league is much slower than the PL so this would suit Cesc perfectly.

Currently Real Madrid just have Pepe, Varane, and Sergio Ramos as center back, so as long as Real Madrid dont buy any new defender, then I'm very sure they will let Pepe go. That issue is appeared just because Zidane recently prefered to use duet Ramos - Varane.

Conte will try everything it take to sign Pepe, he love the violent players like Diego Costa. Hope Zizou won't make this mistake, the legend should be treat lot more better.

It seems that it wont be possible for him to retire there even if he wanted to . They didnt let casillas to retire there and keep on playing however they sent him away and that is just disgusting. Not to say that pepe might be suffering the same fate perhaps earlier than what we are going to expect

Iirc, the last player who could retired in Santiago Bernabeu is Jerzy Dudek in 2011. He even didnt play regularly on the team which just played 2 games for Real Madrid. The point is, it's hard to retire in a team as big as Real Madrid. If you're not useful for them anymore, then you will be given two choices, just sit on the bench all the time with reduced salary or leave the team. Well Casillas, Raul, and Guti chose the second choice due to their career path.

Totally agree with your opinion it is makes sense , fabregas is a typical player that slow in defense.
Conte don't like it and ask him to have better performance in defending situation or he must sell fabregas .

It would be bad for a manager to force his player to be perfect on all situation/position. Fabregas is a type of offensive midfielder, so he should not be forced to be great on defending situation. Something that being forced will never give good result. Better for Fabregas to leave if he is not comfortable with the situation.

he might leave if he want to but i agree with your opinion on this sometimes its hard for player to change way of playing if he didnt play like that in his carries they its hard to adjust in formation from new coach but in some situation players can be good in both defense and offence

think that he will try to adopt in this play if not he might go in winter transfer to another club

Jose Gimenez to partner up with Eric Bailly, that's indeed a great pair. But Mourinho is being too naif by thinking bringing new player could change Man United situation. He is a great tactical manager , no doubt about it , but he never really good in managing player , in fact the whole Man United club doesn't have good trainer for guiding player. Been a lot good player came to Man United and they failed in the end , no one to guiding they when they lose their form , it's really important to connect with the player.
