I think it could be replaced one day if people will stop buying and selling bitcoins and start turning eyes on other cryptocurrency. But for now bitcoin is one of a special digital currency as it is well known throughout the world and used as a money on transactions.
If there will be a better cryptocurrency than bitcoin which is more profitable then it will be easy for the people in bitcoin to just leave bitcoin alone and move to that more profitable and much better cryptocurrency, that is the common or normal scenario for the cryptocurrencies and we need to be prepared for that so we will not have some disappointments in the future.
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

yes, it possible to replaced by other coin
many coin reborn every day, and i think they have one of other goal is be the one of cryptocurrent.
i wish someday bitcoin will replace by other coin. i want to know reaction every people. are they still use bitcoin or move to it coin?
At the moment no coin can replace bitcoin for it has the most demand in the market for its price is high many users are being benefited from it except to those who wants to buy or invest. If there is a coin that is going to replace bitcoin in the future, bitcoin will always be remembered for it is who started the trend.

Now, bitcoin is the most popular coin in the market cap because it ranks number 1. We can't say what will happen next to bitcoin. We can't even predict that bitcoin will be replaced by a coin also because chances will just arrive and for them to make number 1 in the coin market, these coins would definitely take steps to replace bitcoin.

With DApps integrating into IoT and slowly becoming an irreplaceable part of our lifestyles, it wouldn't be surprising at all if Bitcoin was replaced by a currency that offers more value.

And by 'value' I don't mean simple monetary value, but rather the usage and efficiency of usage that a given currency represents. If you consider how the ethereum blockchain is being used to develop all kinds of decentralised applications, due to it's superior block processing speed, and ETH relative ease of acquisition.

What sorts of apps? For example, the fellas over at https://nucleus.vision are developing a coin that is to be integrated into retail sales, as both payment for consumer data, and as a customer loyalty bonus. If they get picked up by major retailers and the token alone could blindside bitcoin and soar, price-wise, while adding significant value as a medium of exchange.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
No other cryptocurrency have the power to substitute the Bitcoin.

We have cryptocurrencies more powerfull than Bitcoin, it's the most known and the most trust but it's evolving very fast.
I guess it's depending on people, are we ready to let another coin replace the bitcoin?

Well it is possible to happen because we all know that there many cryptocurrency who are blooming also and there are also many cryptocurrency is trying to beat bitcoin as the best cryptocurrency, but for me before the bitcoin can be replaced by another cryptocurrency it will take a lot of years, because right now bitcoin is still the best cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin will eventually be mined out. No one actually knows what will happen when we hit the 21 million mark, but if you consider what other blockchains like Ethereum are working to do, the coin will have to be far more efficient and develop more uses than as a simple store of value if it is to hold on to the champion spot in the crypto line up.

But that said, there's no stopping some faster, more efficient blockchain or even a whole new technology from usurping both.

I believe that bitcoin can be replaced by another cryptocurrency. But there is a low probability that another cryptocurrency can replace it. As long as the "another cryptocurrency's" project is great, it is not impossible.

It's impossible, because until now bitcoin is still the king of cryptocurrencies. There are other alt coins that emerged but they can even come close in replacing bitcoin.

I believe that bitcoin can be replace by another cryptocurrency, but there's no way its going to happen very soon. Yes, there's others that are like bitcoin like alt coins and etc. But still if you look into it you can see that bitcoin is the most profitable and stabilize cryprocurrency.

No it will never happen that the bitcoin is can be replaced by another cryptocurrency, we all know that bitcoin is the best cryptocurreny, and for the many years that the bitcoin is running no one ever cryptcurrency who wins against bitcoin, so for me bitcoin will never replaced but i think there are many cryptocurrency who will make bloom also in the future but they can not replaced bitcoin until bitcoin is existing in this world.

I think the other coin can not get rid of bitcoin, because bitcoin is the first virtual money with blockchain technology. It is very difficult for them to defeat it.

Bitcoin is indeed the first cryptocurrency with blockchain
technology and by looking at bitcoin's current bull rally,
I don't think that any cryptocurrency will replace it any
time soon.

BUT, as bitcoin still has a lot of issues to deal with such
as scalability problem being one of them, a cryptocurrency
with better features and reliability can replace bitcoin in the
long term

I think it will not be replaced by another cryptocurrency because other countries don't support bitcoin then they will replaced by another it is really hard to recognize for the country.

Nevertheless, we can see many new promising coins. If they are in something better bitcoin, the users themselves will stop using it as they will find a better replacement. But this requires a lot of time

It is well known truth that Bitcoin is the mother of all crypto currencies and it is hold the first position in crypto market, so it can not beat or replace in near future by any other altcoin. It may be possible in long term, another altcoin Ethereum having a potential can reach near to bitcoin but not to replace it
