Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Bitcoin can't be replaced by another cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is mother of cryptocurrency, never die, never disappear... But in the future, I think Bitcoin's price won't fluctuate anymore. Another as Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, ... will be attractive investment chanel, can earn more profit than Bitcoin.
Bitcoin will be replaced by another curency if the value of it drops below zero or in short if bitcoin is not usable anymore, that is only the way and chance that bitcoin can be replaced by another coin and that coin is etherium because etherium is the next cryptocurency that has a high value after bitcoin but we never know if etherium will still increase or decrease because there were also other coins that has a potential like bitcoincash and ripple. It's hard to Bitcoin's price will fall down to zero or bitcoin isn't usable anymore as your opinion. My opinion is: Althougth Bitcoin's price is zero, Bitcoin is still have a fixed position in the coin market, never disappear out of the coin market.

I do not think it's a substitute, but rather rival. If I look at the altcoin that can rival is Ethereum (ETH), But it will take a very long time to be able to compete with bitcoin. So for now I think no one can compete or replace bitcoin.

Today, there are many new digital currencies, but still bitcoin has a huge advantage in front of them-it is over its improvement and new products based on it that the best minds work, it is bitcoin projects that attracted huge investments from venture investors and corporations. Bitcoin has the largest community of supporters. I think that hardly the same success can be repeated by any other new cryptocurrency in the near future.

I dont think that bitcoin can replaced by another cryptocurrency. Bitcoin was the mother of all cryptocurrency, it will never be replaced by another cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is not a shitcoin and some of altcoins are shit. Bitcoin will remain on top!
Completely agree with you, mate. The original cryptocurrency which brought us the blockchain technology shall never be replaced as it was the one that started it all. It's the biggest and strongest cryptocurrency in existence with a lot of user support, and market activity. Even if it experiences scalability issues, it will always be used as a store of value and remain as top crypto in market cap. One thing for sure, is that many of the altcoins we know and love today, are dependent on Bitcoin's price movements. As such, whenever Bitcoin declines in value, altcoins become cheaper. On the other hand, whenever Bitcoin rises in value, altcoins do the same. Therefore, Bitcoin is the reserve currency for all cryptocurrencies in existence. Once it upgrades itself to handle instant, and cheaper payments, then there will be nothing to stop it from growing it to a wider audience. Just my opinion

No, Ethereum is the 1st coin in the GPU mining community. In my country, the total number of people mining Bitcoin is lower than GPU mining Ethereum so much! Because the cost to mining Ethereum is cheaper than Bitcoin. Hardware to mining Ethereum is also buy easier than Bitcoin Asic from China.

Sooner or later it will happen. it is impossible to predict exactly which currency the bitcoin will replace. Maybe it will be an ethereum, or maybe some bitcoin with a supplement.

Most likely to replace Bitcoin, I doubt that someone can. Perhaps bitcoin itself will become less popular and will itself give way to the first place in the rating of cryptocurrencies.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
Replaced base techology?? yes of course can. and today so many new techology defeat bitcoin from transaction time and transaction fee, but replaced based price, cant because bitcoin is frist cryptocurrensy and all crypto make bicoin as the benchmark. Bitcoin still be no1 coin which has the highest price

Yes, in this competition world anything will be happens.. So 50% possible. But bitcoin is first and gained so much popularity so not easy to succeed it.

Whatever may happen in the future, now a lot of emerging new crypto currency, everything is a competitor. But I think Bitcoin will always be another crypto-crypto parent, because until now no one can offset the price of Bitcoin. it will be hard to beat the bitcoin at this time and in the future.

Highly unlikely that bitcoin is ever replaced by another cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin is the only leader in cryptocurrency. When the price of Bitcoin goes down all other coins crash. When it goes up all other coins go up.
Ethereum follows this pattern too.
I see this and I understand why because bitcoin is the trading pair for almost all other coins. However there will be coins that you will be able to purchase with fiat and do atomic swapping of other crypto currencies that will break away from chain gang of bitcoin, and I am on that train. where do you want to be? https://electraproject.org/

I think anything can happen, if currently the bitcoin is the strongest currency that controls more than 37% marketcap of all coins then I'm sure that someday there will be coins that can beat bitcoin, if viewed the fact of the current development of some coins like ETH, IOTA have a chance replace bitcoin.

I think yes, Nobody can say that either one will happen for sure; they would only be speculating. Because bitcoin is probably not suitable for replacing every and each fiat coin in the world right now as it is and make an unique, Does bitcoin replaced by another cryptocurrency universal coin. So another coin will probably replace it, or Bitcoin will evolve so much that it will make no more sense to call it Bitcoin. And nothing is impossible.Only future will tell.

Agree, there's no need to doubt that someday there will be better coins and replace bitcoin, we do not have to expect much that bitcoin can last forever, most importantly we always benefit.

Nothing can replace bitcoin in any way, some people who think so are just people who speculate that another crypto can replace bitcoin. Whereas the fact data shows bitcoin is still superior in terms of technology and popularity compared with other crypto.

I don't think another cryptocurrency will replace bitcoin. Bitcoin is the oldest coin so far and many people already know about bitcoin, even the price for each bitcoin is really high. That cryptocurrecy who want replace bitcoin need to achieve that to replace bitcoin.
