If the BTC price is stable and there are establishments who accepts BTC in my area, I would probably opt for a certain percentage of my income to be paid in BTC. The price is key. If the price per BTC is extremely volatile, I would not want my pay to be depreciated in value.

Yes if the valuce does not change much, it good to get salary in Bitcoins

That is also my concern. The bitcoin price is too volatile. It is difficult to budget with the bitcoin in the short term.

i would definitely like to receive my salary in bitcoins as it would be as an investment

Not at all.
My salary would be useless tomorrow and I may get rich the other day. That's how volatile it is.
You cannot call that a "stable income".

But not until bitcoin become our national currency.
it looks like you have not been taking full advantage of the fluctuations. so you think that fluctuates is a terrible thing. whereas these fluctuations could be an addition to income or salary in bitcoin? you should be able to learn from it

It is really difficult to predict.
If you have a family that relies on your job and salary, you would not want to say "oh, we are short on meat today because the BTC price fell."

I get your point. And I hope you get mine too.  Grin

No. For me, Fiat is worth much more than bitcoins. I don't earn interest on the BTC I hold nor do I have ways to spend my bitcoins in my country and hence I would prefer having fiat rather than BTC. Also, BTC is not legally accepted and in case the price drops, it would be even worse for employees.

No, I would not. I might accept a small portion by way of speculation, but there's no way I could take the gamble, no just on the exchange rate, but the whole trustless platform as an outright replacement for all of my current expenses, purchases and obligations.

Certainly not!! Why would anyone want that?

BTC price is volatile and your employer will give you salary in bitcoin by taking your payday's exchange price. WHat will happen if the price goes down very next day? You will be in huge loss.

Invest in bitcoin with a surplus money for the future, think about long term. Take your salary in fiat so that your well being can be safeguarded.

If you are a BTC lover, would you one day like to get your paycheck 100% in BTC?

Personally I won't. Because many facilities in my area doesn't support BTC payment. Smiley I do not mind receiving, say, 20% of my pay in BTC denomination.
No I would not like to get my salary in Bitcoins because of the fact that I cannot pay my bills and some other stuff with Bitcoin so it just would be to much trouble to go trough.

Salary is something that every person depends on and it's not an investment like BTC. The price can never be stable unless it's controlled by the Government and if people get their salary in terms of BTC, I don't know how would they manage every month. They would need to convert it asap.

Of course at present i would like to get my salary as BTC;) because the BTC value is getting high and this will not standard our regional currency hence we can earn more. But the expectation about the Btc value is high now a days.

Well said, if you rely on your salary, probably not a good idea to get your wage. But you could get a small % of your check, like 10% into BitCoin, and get the rest deposited to your bank account.

if all companies will adopt their employees salary thru bitcoins
for sure majority of there manpower will do protest for this matters..
because it has a high risk,if im going to figure out this things base in my analyzation
we knew that bitcoins has a fluctuation paradigm scheme
so it is possible that bitcois has a high price value now but tomorrow it can no longer a high value at all,.. Smiley

It's different with me in my country have some local exchange and it makes me easy to convert bitcoin into our local currency.
Yeah, right many people still prefer to get the salary in their local currency.

No. because right now the price of bitcoin is high and you will get your salary on a smaller amount than before, so what if the price of bitcoin will just go down? you will get a financial loss.

I didn’t want to lower my bitcoin assets too much, so I decided to explore the option of getting paid in bitcoin as a way for me use bitcoin as both an asset and a currency as the list of merchants who accept bitcoin just keep growing.

I think now bitcoin is not in a condition that we will lose our money in there, now the price is much better and is not going to down, so it is not bad that we get our salary in BTC.
