If you are a BTC lover, would you one day like to get your paycheck 100% in BTC?

Personally I won't. Because many facilities in my area doesn't support BTC payment. Smiley I do not mind receiving, say, 20% of my pay in BTC denomination.

It can be good idea if it is fixed in bitcoin. When bitcoin price increases so is your salary. So there are chance that you can earn more if you receive it in btc. And when the price is low, you'll just hold it for a while and consider it as an investment.

I am currently working as freelance developer in freelancer.com but they are not paying in bitcoin till now. Hope they will add bitcoin and i can get payment in bitcoin which i love to get rather than getting paid in skirll, paypal etc.

I hope that too. It is easier to receive bitcoins rather than in paypal that takes a lot of process, this and that.

If the BTC price is stable and there are establishments who accepts BTC in my area, I would probably opt for a certain percentage of my income to be paid in BTC. The price is key. If the price per BTC is extremely volatile, I would not want my pay to be depreciated in value.

Yes if the valuce does not change much, it good to get salary in Bitcoins

That is also my concern. The bitcoin price is too volatile. It is difficult to budget with the bitcoin in the short term.
though you might receive a lot more money than your wage then so it would also be good

i would definitely like to receive my salary in bitcoins as it would be as an investment
You are true if we started to receive our salaries in Bitcoin then whenever the price would increase we would geta bigger amount from the normal wages of the day, I think with that everyone will be happy.

But it would be bad if bitcoin's value will drop. Our salary could decrease 5$ or more depending how big it will drop. 5$ in asian countries are a big amount and it will be a big effect if that happens. Good for us today because bitcoin's value is continuously increasing because of the upcoming halving in july. But we'll soon get disappointed when it starts to drop but let's hope that won't happen. And if it will not that big drop.

For me, I would still choose to receive my salary as it is, in fiat. Maybe I'd consider getting my paycheck in bitcoin once the price is already stable. But not right now. Can you imagine every payday, you are not sure how much you will be earning? Or what if on your payday, the price plummets by 20%, that wouldn't really feel good in my pocket.

I would love to but in the country I live in I would struggle to survive with cryptos alone. I do try to systematically buy cryptos for a certain % of my monthly paycheque.

If I were to be asked if I would like to receive my salary in BTC my answer would be probable a big NO because Bitcoin is not yet highly use in our country there are still a lot of things that bitcoins can buy so if I will receive my salary in BTC, I still have to convert it in to peso.

Because if you get you paid for bitcoin form you can using it for investment or you can trade your salary to make a more income for you and rotate your salary. It's will better than you receive your paid on PayPal.

I like bitcoin and i like to invest in bitcoin, but i prefer my salary in fiat, its easier to spend and i dont need to exchange my money to purchase something, and then i prefer my salary to a fix state not volatile
I do not like to get my salary in Bitcoins because there is not much that I can do with them. The value constantly changing is also not going to help because then you will have a different salary every time.

i will choose 50% at bitcoin and 50% at fiat currency, receive 100% at bitcoin is very risk, because the cost to withdraw from bitcoin to fiat arround 1%-5%, for administration fee etc.

I probably just like you, because bitcoin is still limited to do as payment transactions.
indeed it was not a problem because we can convert it to a fiat, but the money we will be cut off by a withdrawal fee. so it is better to accept in the form of fiat.

Well for me 50% would be reasonable to accept it into BTCitcoin because that ratio i am already to save my earning into BTCitcoin, unfortunately i don't have enough merchant to accept this to buy some stuff for my daily use so that i would like to take rest of 50% into fiat and it sounds nice to me.

There are losses on currency conversion but not sure how much, PayPal converts to euro when sending to my bank then my bank converts to ron. There is also a $2.5 fee for every time I take out $500 out of PayPal (max amount per day)

I think it is a good idea because of the extent of technology and also easy transaction using bitcoin, I don't see any problem if it will happen.
and when this happen the demand of bitcoin will increase more  and the price also.
I think that it would not be handy for everyone because for example some people cannot pay there bills or food or anything with Bitcoins. So it would not make sense to get paid in bitcoins.

Not at all.
My salary would be useless tomorrow and I may get rich the other day. That's how volatile it is.
You cannot call that a "stable income".

But not until bitcoin become our national currency.
it looks like you have not been taking full advantage of the fluctuations. so you think that fluctuates is a terrible thing. whereas these fluctuations could be an addition to income or salary in bitcoin? you should be able to learn from it

It is really difficult to predict.
If you have a family that relies on your job and salary, you would not want to say "oh, we are short on meat today because the BTC price fell."

I get your point. And I hope you get mine too.  Grin
That's the main reason that even I don't wish to be paid in BTC. It's better salary is paid in my local currency rather than BTC where the price never remains stable. The company also would incur losses if they paid in BTC. It's like getting shares in a company rather than salary where the price is not fixed.

Receiving a salary in BTC is an interesting concept.
I'd say yes if my employer offer me the possibility to step back to fiat at anytime.
