If the BTC price is stable and there are establishments who accepts BTC in my area, I would probably opt for a certain percentage of my income to be paid in BTC. The price is key. If the price per BTC is extremely volatile, I would not want my pay to be depreciated in value.

Yes if the valuce does not change much, it good to get salary in Bitcoins

That is also my concern. The bitcoin price is too volatile. It is difficult to budget with the bitcoin in the short term.
But nowadays we will be lucky if we got our salary in bitcoin as with each passing day the price of bitcoin is increasing with big volume and we will become rich sooner alone with our salaries.

If you are a BTC lover, would you one day like to get your paycheck 100% in BTC?

Personally I won't. Because many facilities in my area doesn't support BTC payment. Smiley I do not mind receiving, say, 20% of my pay in BTC denomination.

Nobody knows the future but if I had a chance past months or past year i would accept why not. It is a great opportunity to receive the salary in bitcoin because first you don't have to pay fees, transaction fees that are through the banks, it's in one way anonymous so the government does not know that you are getting paid for your job etc.

I already receive a percentage of my fortnightly paycheck direct in bitcoin.
I was already purchasing coins each pay so this was a good way to cut down on exchange fees and time, mostly the coins are available to me within 24hrs of my pay.

I certainly do not want to, first I agree with you that not many stores that accept bitcoin. and secondly if we accept bitcoin when the price drops dramatically it will bother, right? hehe
Of course there can be risk of price drop and for those months you may run out of money !

But getting partially in some percentage, wont make anyone sad Cheesy
In my case i would like to get 40% in Bitcoins and 60% in real cash check Cheesy

Judging from the responses here from Philippino bitcoin users, it appears that Phillippines has a good eco system that supports and promotes bitcoins. They could pay their utility bills and credit card bills with bitcoins at convenience stores. Not sure other countries are able to do that.

For me also I wont too, because i have many reason why i dont like, first because if they pay my service in bitcoin what if bitcoin price dump so if i need that money i dont have choice to convert it to fiat even if my balance is half only becasue the bitcoin dump. Second many hackers will try to hack many bitcoin account because it is easy than rubbing a bank it is safe than rubbing. So i think thats the reason why i dont want to get my paycheck 100% in bitcoin.

Apparently, from what I've seen, it's only a third party paying center that converts people's bitcoins to cash and use that to pay the bills but it's a good thing that they have some kind of an instant converter to ease up the pain of going downtown in payment centers to pay the bills.

though when the price is not stable you can earn a lot of money out of that in my opinion thus allowing you to make a lot of money so i guess that would be even a better thing

i would definitely like to receive my salary in bitcoins because i would get more bitcoins as an investment and i would also get a great chance to make some good profit out of it

yeah it would be nice if you also someone who understands the trade. surely you will get doubled profit
but ordinary people who do not have that ability. This idea might be good enough I would prefer to get a salary with fiat of course

I received a btc wage for a few years, working for an exchange. Btc salaries suck. First off, no one accepts btc in the "real world". Essentially, you will have to convert back to fiat to pay anything meaningful, which means paying a service fee. This adds up on bigger tabs (like the rent and utilities). It's like working for 3-9% less wage due to conversion fees.

That is crazy.  I just said in another thread, I just ate at Burger King an hour ago and paid in Bit.  It is crazy to think that no one takes it, it is all over the place.

Because bitcoin only effective to use for online activities but it's not effective to use in real life or our environmental. Our community is unfamiliar with BTC. I'm not interested in receiving all of my salary in BTC form.
