Nope. Bitcoin is way too volatile nowadays to keep my hard-earned money. Sure, the bitcoin price is slowly rising, but what goes up must come down. I don't want to be with all my money when that happens.

You are right bitcoin is too volatile you cant predict the price. If you depend truly in your salary  then it would be good to receive salary as fiat. In bitcoin you cant guarantee your salary it might be high or low depends on the price.Well who knows what would be the bitcoin price in future.

yeah fluctuation is a major consideration when you want to accept bitcoin. because of fluctuations in prices can not
simply be underestimated. because when prices are declining very sharply. maybe it will halve your money

If you see that bitcoin is a stable currency then you will just see that the fluctuation is just a normal thing. You are only talking on the negative side and you failed to speculate that what if the price will go skyrocket the moment you receive your salary.

I would like to have my salary paid maybe three times a year directly in bitcoins.
The rest on my bank account as normal.
That way I would always have a steady amount of coins available.
And because i consider bitcoins to be an investment as well, it would be good for my future.

  It's me!!!

Yeah you might tempted to play gambling if you receive your money in bitcoin, that is one of my reason too and i prefer fiat because when i need cash its easy to spend. you cant buy daily needs through bitcoin you still have to cash out it, especially the value of bitcoin is not stable so my money might increase or decrease.

My area doesn't have any points of interest to pay with BTC at either. So I would not like to get my salary in Bitcoin monthly, and this is not the only reason.. e.g. the Bitcoin can fall in price a lot and my money would become worth like nothing compared to the day the price was high. But just one month being paid in BTC wouldn't really bother me Smiley

If you are a BTC lover, would you one day like to get your paycheck 100% in BTC?

Personally I won't. Because many facilities in my area doesn't support BTC payment. Smiley I do not mind receiving, say, 20% of my pay in BTC denomination.

Of course i would love to do that as i still buy bitcoins for 50% of my salary so that would be even easier for me, but i don't think that it will happen anytime soon

Why not? Your company does not know about bitcoins yet? May be that is a good opportunity for you and your company, actually. May be you can introduce it to them. That way, not only that you're going to be paid in bitcoin but you also helped them be enlightened about bitcoin.

You must be very rich if you can save 50% of your salary. I think it is better to save about 10% of the salary into bitcoin.

It's depend on the situation though. If the price of bitcoin keep increase like today, yes i like to received my salary in bitcoin, but not for long term. Only for short term and when the bitcoin's price goes down i won't in bitcoin.
Same here. It depends on the situation. it is good when you have another source of income that is offering cash for now that not all the stores are accepting BTC as currency and payment but it is more good when the price of BTC is getting higher. in that case, you hav a chance to have another bonus by the price hike of the BTC in time.

That's so much in the future since that would not happen until bitcoin becomes the main currency of the world "if it ever becomes that is" but I wouldn't mind as long as I can use it offline as well.

Yap that's the best way to receive bitcoin as a payment of our salary. Lets say, our salary is $1000, so this month we will receive 1.72BTC but the other months we may receive less or more BTC depends on the rate on the day of the payment.

i think its depend on your expenditure or on your salary range and then you think that how many percent salary save in bitcoin 10% or 50% etc.
