If you are a BTC lover, would you one day like to get your paycheck 100% in BTC? Personally I won't. Because many facilities in my area doesn't support BTC payment.  I do not mind receiving, say, 20% of my pay in BTC denomination. For me also, I would not receive my salary in BTC because it would be useless to receive in BTC and then convert it to BTC later because I wanted to buy something and then I can't buy it with BTC because they only accept fiat. Maybe one day when almost all the stores will accept BTC as payment then I can also accept my salary as bitcoin but now it would be hard because many people don't even know that a digital currency exist. If you are investing in bitcoin, it is good to accept bitcoin as salary. You do not have to buy bitcoin anymore in order to invest. But if you are using bitcoin just for daily expenses, it is an annoyance to exchange it to fiat. Even if we accept salary in bitcoins then also at this stage we need to exchange it to fiat for our daily expenses so I don't think it would be smart to accept salary in bitcoins. |

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

I personally wouldn't mind having a decent portion of my salary in BTC, however I don't think that I'd like to have all of it come from Bitcoin. The market can be too volatile for me sometimes, and I would like to make sure that I am able to cover my costs of living before putting money into an investment.

Action speaks louder than words, bitcoin is the best currency so far and if we are just looking at it without any action we will not succeed together with bitcoin, we should also learn how to risk our investment and we must do it now while the price is still cheap and rising. |

Action speaks louder than words, bitcoin is the best currency so far and if we are just looking at it without any action we will not succeed together with bitcoin, we should also learn how to risk our investment and we must do it now while the price is still cheap and rising. im selling some computer equipment, and i accept bitcoin as payment too, if my company want to give my salary in bitcoin i will very happy to accept it. |

How to pay for the goods. very simple actually. when local stores don't accept bitcoin as payment form, then you have to convert a certain part of your coins to fiat in order to buy the things you need. |

Another downside of receiving your monthly salary in Bitcoin is the fees you will be paying at Bitcoin exchanges upon converting the coins back to cash. This is something that puts me off when thinking about going fully into Bitcoin. All these fees and surcharges are unnecessary and honestly I would prefer to use fiat for my salary directly and exchange to Bitcoin from there when needed.

Since the price is fluctuating and certainly the price would raise in future, I would hold and sell or exchange the bitcoins into fiats. I am sure this will benefits me with more profit. Its kind of a business done with my salary. Everyone will be happy to get the turn around from their investments.

What if you had a bitcoin debit card, would you hold most if not all of your wages in bitcoin and only transfer what is needed to the card so as you can make store purchases and pay some bills? With the stability in the bitcoin market now this is easy to do |

Even fiat money doesn't have a stable price. There are still price inflation and deflation going on every single day. If Bitcoin gets a stable price, people would just lose interest. In the trading industry, Bitcoin would be basically dead if it gets a fixed price. Of course i don't want and this is very bad idea unless bitcoin will finally get stable price, and bitcoin will be accepted anywhere, then maybe yes, but at the moment no

Not sure why these small disadvantages are causing you guys some trouble when there's a lot of advantages that you can get when you receive your salary in BTC. |

Of course we will say no because of stability issues. But we are signature campaigners, and we are now already receiving bitcoin as payment for our services and we have no issues with that. If the price dumps then we get paid lower in value, but if it pumps we get higher in value. |

What certain things that makes you consider that it is really a bad idea. If you are going to see things in a wider range you can really see that there would be no difference at all if you convert US$ for your currency cause it also fluctuates. |
