In as much as I believe in Bitcoin which is the reason why I am here in the first place and I believe everyone here will also hold that believe, the reluctance I would exhibit is the volatility Bitcoin possess and because salary is fixed, it does not move in the direction of movement in the exchange rate but to be on a safer side and not to lose I would prefer to apportion into percentages. A part to be received in Bitcoin, and the other part using FIAT...

I wouldn't like to receive my salary in bitcoin cause receiving my salary in bitcoin would mean that I have to convert it back every time to be able to pay for my bills which is a no go cause I have to pay fees everytime
yeah of course it had to do, unless bitcoin received in various places like the fiat of course you do not have to convert it to a fiat at any time

This is what the majority says that we don't want to accept our salary in bitcoins. But we are keep on saying that we trust with bitcoin and now I changed my mind from saying that I don't want to receive bitcoins as my salary. Since I believe that bitcoin is going to be used in the future within my community then I would say yes.
for now maybe yeah you cannot expect too much in bitcoin
like you are not able yet to pay your bill with bitcoin , you cannot buy many kind foods etc
so receiving salary in bitcoin are sounds like too much hard things to do with real life
but you should believe soon or later bitcoin will be more established just like fiat.
Maybe I would only accept my salary in bitcoin if my employer will increase my salary, I have a big family so I would not gamble all my salary in bitcoin. I cannot do that although I love bitcoin because most smart investors are moving in, right now I even want to increase my salary by doing different kind of works online.
they should not increase your salary actually , as bitcoin price volatile
now you may received $800 monthly for example , but in the next few months the value of $800 might bouncing to $1,500
this is waht will happened to everyone who decide want to receive bitcoin as their salary
but remember too , you might get zero value in the end as noone know about bitcoin future.

Yes I would like if I could get my salary in BTC but only if I can use BTC directly in markets and shops since I would just need to exchange it for USD and then use it after that, So I wouldn't take it in BTC right now since you can't use it directly in most physical places.
I think many people would be willing to accept bitcoin as a payment method if bitcoin accepted in many places, and people find it easier to shop

Even then I think not even 10% of the Bitcoiners here will agree on getting their monthly salary paid out in Bitcoin due to all its fluctuations.

If you have a house to pay for, family to feed and buy them what they need, then you will not proceed with accepting it as salary.

People should just stick to using a small part of their current salary to buy themselves some coins with every month.

That's how you avoid landing yourself into deep troubles at the time the price sinks to the bottom.

i doubt that you can receive your salary in bitcoin and pay no taxes and even if by any chance that was possible it wouldn't last long because government would either ban it or take taxes from that.

There is a FOMO brewing...

It's sounds good actually, receiving my salary in bitcoin. But in my area, i can't use bitcoin though. So, in my opinion, it's better to receive my salary in fiat, not bitcoin.

Well i agree at first you are not paying taxes but by that time government are preparing to pass a bill that you should pay a tax from it because government is a scumbag interms of money. So it will not take to long that you are not paying taxes.

Government would  ban bitcoin if they saw  that its a threat to their economy but  if  it would  be adopted for sure its a great implementation on such country. but still government wouldnt have access or control to bitcoin  even if they are adopted by the government and they cant  do anything about it.

I would love to receive my salary in bitcoin if I had a job, as I don't have a job I am trying to grow some of my income in bitcoin so I can grow a little savings pot for my retirement as I don't have a pension or pension fund so Bitcoin and gold are my only hope.

You can search on local bitcoins for a person who will do trade in your country for bitcoin so you can meet him and whenever you will receive your salary in bitcoins you will go to hm and will ask for exchange to your money. So it is not hard for you to get your salary in bitcoins in your country.

For now, no I don't want to because most of my daily needs can be purchased only with fiat so if I receive my salary in bitcoin then I would need to convert it to fiat first to use it and I still need to pay transaction fee so it would be an additional expense. I may want to receive my salary in bitcoin if I can purchase and pay my day to day expenses with bitcoin because there would be no lose and additional expense. Besides, many people do not still know the existence of bitcoin and those who do use it more as an investment than a currency.

But why would he go through the hassle of getting paid in Bitcoins and then lose time and money to convert it to fiat? Would be simpler for him to just get paid in fiat. Someday when everything everywhere (not just online stores) is priced in both regular currencies and Bitcoin, getting paid in Bitcoins will become a real alternative.

Even if there are no taxes but someone who needs to have some cash as well for his expenditures would have to pay the fees of exchanges in order to receive fiat in return of bitcoin, but still those fees wont be as much as taxes may apply, i have no experience on these things as i have never had any jobs and still studying.

I do not want to received Bitcoin as my salary because Bitcoin price is not stable what if i received 200$ salary as Bitcoin then the next day the price of Bitcoin drop then i will not able to received 200$ when i exchange it. So i still prefer having a flat money as my salary.

I would like to receive my salary in BTC but not all of it. I still want to receive some portion of my salary let's say for about 50% is fiat. I want it that way because for now we need fiat to survive in this world and we need it to buy our daily needs. Maybe in the future I would consider receiving my full time job in Bitcoin for me to receive it tax free.

that's right when government knew about it possible to ban the service because it would cause many things if taxes will not be served coming from this kind of salaries but its still up to you if you really like to play with fluctuations.

No, at this stage its better to go with fiat as the price stability is still missing in bitcoins and unless it doesn't happen I don't think its a smart move to go for it.
