There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Does anyone have instructions on how to setup wallet for staking?

You can start staking immediately but you need to wait for the minimum confirmations (3400) before your coins can start minting new BRK.

A lot of people apparently break the coins up into chunks of 101 so they can have a continuous cycle of coins staking. They do this by creating multiple addresses in their wallet and sending a chunk of coins to each address effectively separating them from each other.

At the end of the day you have to remember that the Devs promised a gaming ecosystem built with the ICO funds. They did not state anywhere that you would get 10X investment returns 24 hours after the coin launched.

Honestly silence speaks volumes but if the real money poker/casino are actually still in the works and delivered when expected the coins will moon. Like I said before it is up to the devs, they can actually create something here that could be worth a fortune or they can run away with ~1000 BTC.

I plan on holding 5k of each coin until it moons or crash and burns.

This.

I figured the coins would tank after launch, remember that most of the people within crypto-currency are not gamblers or poker players. Look for this project to gain slow momentum and growth.

So what you guys mean is that we still have to invest more for this coin while the dev abandoned it already? If this is what you've been doing now, thats very generous of you.  Let me just say thanks to you on  behalf the the dev.

for example I have 1010 BRX coins in my wallet I can create 10 addresses and tie each 101 coins to a specific address?
Will this lower my staking power by a tenth. Little confused sorry. I don't follow why we need to split the coins

You still have the same amount of coins so it doesn't change your stake weight. The idea is that splitting the coins up protects them from each other when a block is found. Since each chunk of coins is attached to a different wallet address and have different ages if one chunk finds a block and mints BRK only that chunk has its age return to zero leaving your other 9 chunks staking.

I know I have made a good investment when the FUD starts.  You guys are right on time.  Welcome!  Smiley

The "generosity" towards the "devs" here has been, and remains being simply mind boggling.

They are either 'in' on it encouraging people to set buy walls to get dumped on. Or they are in so much denial that they have become oblivious to the obvious truth...that they have been scammed, not once, but twice, and for some, thrice.

Dev team silence usually means they are busy dumping their coins on you, and as soon as they're done, they'll bring the bad news.

Move on and recoup your losses elsewhere folks.

I'm not that generous.  Only put in enough to do well if it works out and if it doesn't, I can walk away unscathed.  The gaming platform is more important to me than the price right now.
Most people in it for a quick profit are crying about the price is all I'm seeing.  Well that and the usual FUD.  Nothing new.
