What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit?

unfortunately the fun thing still can lead people to an addiction and something bad in the end they can not control themself to get hurry to bet again after losing some money and broke.

i myself still not sure if gambling is a good thing to do or bad at all? even people play for fun only?

Not all the time gambling gives bad effect in a person, but I think most of the time most people playing gambling is a loser in the end, because I think that is really the majority result. But for those who own gambling sites and gambling places it is really good for them and they don't care if there are addicted gamblers because they give them huge profit.

Well we can not change that because losing is always happening for everyone.. gambling made only to give entertainment to people not for making profit.. so its a bad thing if you are gamble for profit and your money is from your daily or monthly financial.. it can destroy your life..

no i dont think that gambling is made only for entertainment, because if gambling is only for entertainment then there are so many other game and sources of entertainment why dont people try these sources and games as there are almost no risk of loosing money, for me gambling is only for making money and in gambling there is entertainment if a person is winning the bit other wise a person cannot enjoy gambling if he is loosing money in gambling.

no i dont think that gambling is made only for entertainment, because if gambling is only for entertainment then there are so many other game and sources of entertainment why dont people try these sources and games as there are almost no risk of loosing money, for me gambling is only for making money and in gambling there is entertainment if a person is winning the bit other wise a person cannot enjoy gambling if he is loosing money in gambling.

Honestly i dont agree to you because i think gambling made only to give fun to people not for making a profit.. people are not the same they are looking for a unique hobby they are just choose to gamble to have fun people are not the same some people are not doing fun with gambling they are looking for a profit.. one of my friend told me that they are just gamble because its fun.. i already told him that gamble has no future why your so addicted but his answer its fun its different in other games or sex as his said..

mostly fun and to pass time. I used to try and gamble sports and poker for profit by betting units/percentages of bankroll, but in the long run you usually end up losing and I have lost a lot. But It's an addiction. So I might as well have a care free out look on it and bet small amounts.  I have a "If i squeak out a profit nice, if not oh well" type of attitude towards it now.

Gambling for fun means gambling with an affordable sum of money. That means there's no greediness or something because all you want is to have fun. On the other hand, it's still bad because you are still depositing a lot of money. If you'd save that amount of money you are playing with everytime, you would have had right now thousands, or even more if you're rich.

Gambling for profit means you NEED profit. And that will make you unstoppable unless you win. And even when you will win, you will still want more. You're getting more and you still want it. It's an unstoppable addiction. So gambling for profit means loss for sure. If you're a smart guy, STOP after winning your first bet.

Nah, not really, this is also depending of a person, if how they can handle themselves in gambling. But I was just saying here is "MOST OF THE TIME". I didn't say "ALL THE TIME", that is different. Me myself I am really not lucky in terms of gambling, I am always a loser in the end, yes I can also win but after that winning moment, I will also lose it all in the end. Yes i can say it 50-50.Means 50% for profit and 50% for fun as well and i do not agree with you that gambling is a sickness or obsession,because i do mostly sports betting gambling and there is both profit and fun and thats not a sickness if we bet with some good strategy there profit along with fun can be achieved.

I do it for profit mainly nowadays, and I can say that I am not obsessed nor addicted because I don't pay too much attention to it after I locked my pick (I mainly do sports betting ). It is wrong to generalize that all gamblers are addicts lol. There are some that falls under that category, and some also that don't. If I ask you why are you gambling and answer that you're not going for profit, it's total BS.
