What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit?

The first reason i gamble to have fun, in my spare time.
And the second reason to make a profit even though i sometimes experience losses in gambling.
I'm sure everyone has the same thoughts as me.
Do not ever think that gambling as a livelihood because it can make us stress when experiencing a very big defeat.

Yep you are correct, living off of gambling is extremely stressful. Once it's going good and you are keeping up with whatever limits you have set it's amazing but then when you have 2months of losses.. it sucks. I've been there and would never recommend anyone to try it, it's hell on earth basically.

There is no way to live of gambling because sooner or later we are going to lose. Sometimes people are very lucky to win all those money from gambling and dont even need to work anymore. Sometimes people like that exist however it is not for everyone to take so I think that most people should just play for fun instead of playing for profit

There is a way to live off of gambling, I'm living proof of it . But as you say, it's not for everyone, after 2 years it wasn't for me anymore either.. too much time was spent vs what rewards I got. Also took a toll on relationships which turned me off as well. But I do have to disagree with you about playing for fun, always play for profit, it'll be more fun that way .

If your main goal is to make profit while gambling, then you will be always sad when you lose and this has really nothing to do with fun. If you gamble mainly for fun and don't care much about losing, then you will have fun by just gambling and in my opinion this is the sense of gambling. If I want to make continuously money, I better go the serious trading or investing section.

You hit it sartoga! if you are just playing or gambling for fun and you are really not after for money, at the end of the session will be having fun regardless of the turnout - whether you win or lose that session. The main goal is to have fun and if it is no longer fun, better stop right away.

Probably deep inside, you would still be sad but not affecting so much as to expect that you would win and not win. It's the most basic thing that humans are comprehending, the emotions are going to be stronger but it's needed that we need to be strong and keep moving forward.

For me gambling is sometimes my recreational activity that releases my stress, i feel excited and feel much fun while i am playing so therefore i can say that i gamble because of fun and not for profit  because its not my habit to bet high value, i contol and put limit of what is my affordable value to loss.

The reason why i always play gambling is the fun i get and i don't feel the problems cycling over my body since i have soo much problem and i made up some decision that gambling can help me out to stress out those feeling gambling is the only way out for me to become happy. I started gambling for fun but as I got addicted to it and have found some methods to win , it turned out to be for profit now. Though I have never invested on it from my own pocket. I use the money I have won.

I guess all of us started to gamble by treating it as a fun thing to do. But as we gamble the more times that is becoming deep and each and everyone of us are starting to sense that gambling can be a good profiting tool and source of income. I'm stuck to that mindset because I use to gamble before the same as you but right now everything has change and I think that it's better to treat it as for profit.

I feel you mate! I have caught myself in this deep shit to before and I just had to fight it. It is easy to say you just want to catch fun, but it takes a whole lot of discipline for that mentality to remain like that. Gambling gradually do have a way of instilling a particular effect of just wanting to win and when you lose, it is like the whole world dropped on you and your decisions can be affected until you realize you are in deep. Gambling for profit makes you not to get too greedy and accept losses but does not still guarantee winning all the time.

There is nothing called fun in gambling everyone gambles just to make some extra money and make profit if it was a game of entertainment this industry wouldn't be this big it is much more than just getting entertainment

Absolutely true, i don't know where those that gamble  for fun come from, it's just unbelievable for someone to gamble his money for fun, it's better for such a person to run charity and have fun helping others. we all gamble for the profit and i wont deny that.

Deep inside, we want to win. Always, and that never changes. What happens is that you are going to play and hope for the best, if losing gets you down and become emotional, then you have to look at yourself whether you are addicted or not. You can't get emotional if you are not that addicted.

Gambling once in a while nothing is wrong who doesn't like to earn quick money but it is the amount many spend 10 bitcoin but gamble once in a month losing 10 bitcoin is really high you should gamble but at the same time you should have control over yourself

Gambling is a type if game and games should always be okayed for fun unless you very good at then and can profit like for example poker. Other then that you should just stick to a certain amount and wage that amount an accept your results then decide if you want to risk making the kisses back or further increase any wins. Rather then focus on profit focus on weither or bit you still plan to pay for that day. Keep a certain amount set aside from your gambling hbby and never go more then that it you could find yourself in grave trouble. So long as you remember to keep to a limit you can sustain you should never have problems gambling. If you cannot do that then perhaps try another hobby or invest in the casino.

You are right, that it's easy and quick, but you should to be lucky to say that is "Easy".
But the term "Easy' is right when you mean that without any kind of work, That's mean easy money.  By the way, My reason to gamble is for fun. I don't like to consider it like a source of profit, because i know that i will lose a lot of money, In my life i am not lucky enough to use this kind of entertainment for profit.

Literally, Gambling is suppose to be for fun and gambling or entertaiment and I stick with it. I play only for entertainment, Normally when I gamble, I just wanted to release my stress out and just want to have fun. Profit will come, but even though I don't care about earning by way of gambling I still put limit on my expense for my stay. Gambling makes somehow relax and happy, even though I only play once or twice a month. I'd make sure that my stay would be worth every while.

Then I will suggest you to become serious with your gambling and stop trying to have fun because if you take it serious and put all the statistical analysis of your games together and come out with a winning plan you can be successful.

I get that, and I agree. Just wondering.. Don't you ever feel the games in themselves are even the slightest of fun? If your answer is no, why do you do it? Only chasing the money and only going for the profits could do more harm than good, and that's not a road you want to take when you start gambling.. Just my 2 satoshis.

An increase of 50% a month is very good. Especially if your initial balance is a huge amount.

For the economically mediocre, logically it would be difficult to gamble to have fun, there is always worry that our money will be lost. And it would be great if we win, winning means getting profit, so it's only natural that we gamble for profit.

It totally depends on each individual. Of course, no one comes into gambling to loose their money as we all come with the hope that we might be able to get lucky and win some pretty good money but if it were that easy, then most of us would have become big boys by now. As much as we want to win, we should consider that the chances of loosing too is high and take gambling as fun than relying on it to give you profit. So, if you cannot, come to that conclusion in your heart, it is just best to stay away.

Profit it should be  because the house is there to profit from your failed bets and so it makes every sense to also try to profit from your gambling because there's nothing fun than beating the house and making profits .
