What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit?

At first, it's really for fun even if you lose or win but when you won a big amount in the middle of your play, everything becomes serious and you play it now for profit.

its okey. BUt dont use gambling to take a profit in the longterm, gambling is all about lucky
for fun or profit its depend on your self. I just use gambling for fun and do not use a lot of amount.

I mainly gamble for profits alone but since i am not winning as i should be, I have decided to step back for a while. With am always losing money what the fun in that in the first place.

yes there is an understanding that whenever you lost then there is no fun at all.

but for some people who don't care anymore about how much they lost because of gambling (as long as you can afford to lose it) they will remain have fun with the game and it was not easy indeed to let your money gone like that.

Those indications signifies that you are already addicted on gambling which comes to a point on where you dont really care anymore if you do lose or win as long you do play no matter what. Losing is not really a fun thing which you would really feel frustrations since no one would really like to lose up money. Theres a fun moment but most of the time you will really got pissed off.

If you're playing for the profit only, you will end up getting bored and broke because the lack of passion will make stressed and afraid of loosing everytime you play. We all hate loosing but it does not bother me that much if i enjoyed the game.

yes maybe if the gambling is done with the purpose of having fun then there will be no regret or disappointment despite the defeat, because we know the risk of gambling lose and may be more concern if someone has gambling addiction.

That would help us realize that gambling is not the priority when we have a family, it's very risky to continue although we are winning sometimes and not all gamblers who are successful will end up profitable in gambling. It's still base on luck as your method might become obsolete and you will not gonna be consistent anymore.

When I was new in gambling I always think positive that I can make money but losing is a hard experience and I do not want to do the same mistakes again.

it's hard to stay think about having fun in gambling , your brain stimulates you to think that it's about money dude and nothing else, it would always like that no matter what. you might want to treat gambling as entertainment but i think it could be done with a good financial condition only , otherwise you would remain looking for profit all the time.

When I started gambling it was purely for profit and dreams of a better life, didn't really turn out that way and even though I had some great success I lost out in the end. Afterwards when trying to look at it differently and having another approach it was more for fun, with profits still being a goal it was no longer a necessity. Something I do not really like is to see people who say they gamble to have fun to be the righteous. They judge that gambling for profit is the wrong thing, but profit is the thing promised by gambling. And the main thing is our self-control, not our goal, as long as our self-control is good we will go well.

Yes. playing in gambling that you are just like seeking fun is good but i think in the long run it also gives a negative effect, because as you intensify the feeling of fun and thrill while playing gambling then the brain will adopt that excitement feeling, and that is the time that you are now seeking the happiness out of gambling and the worst is it leads you to addiction

Back to the topic, nowadays I only play for fun and not for profit, knowing that I am really not lucky in those kind of games. However, in a month or two, I might start gambling for profit again (the Internationals on dota 2 which I am very fond of).

Most of us are doing it for fun. However I cannot deny the fact that I am there to profit from my activity. I would think that I am a dumb if I am just there for the purpose of having fun since I can have fun in other ways in real life.
