Do NXT holders in exchanges also get ignis?
I don't think so.
Wouldn't it be in the interest of the exchanges to support this and prevent massive withrawal?
They can but they don't have to.
Why take chances?
Let me show you the safe way:
Today.Download and install the wallet from
https://nxt.org/downloadCreate a new account, remember/write down your passphrase, don't forget it.
Withdraw ARDR from the exchange to your address, the one that starts with NXT- (can be found in the top left corner of the wallet, also called Account id).
Sync the blockchain to the end (can take a few hours depending on your hardware speed) and you will see your ARDR under Asset exchange.
In September.Wait for Ardor platform launch in September, download the Ardor wallet when it becomes available and log in using the same passphrase.
Thanks! Will move my ARDR into the NXT wallet aswell, once I have security and safety issues figured out.
I have two apps on my android phone, "NXT" & "NXT mobile wallet"
I can log into NXT app by entering 4 digit pin, where I can see my balance and address, recieve and send funds
I can access NXT Mobile Wallet by entering the NXT address from "NXT" app. This doesn't make sense to me. Isn't it just a public address? Maybe I'm just stupid
I cant remember the process of setting up my nxt wallet, or the passphrase (I could probably figure it out, if the passphrase is set by myself?), I guess I was a bit reckless when signing up.
Also what im worried about is, if something were to happen to my android device, which options do I have for getting back access to my nxt wallet?
advice.. anyone?
Thanks
