For me, this is kind of a huge investment, but should I actually do it?

What are the risks of doing this?
Follow your guts your your heart say if you really believe in bitcoin then you should buy that money into bitcoin there are more potential tbat you can grow your money here in bitcoin world by trading  investing and many more you can do it you know already what to do buddy

Thats true, follow your guts or instinct but you may have a clue already here. Most of the people here says Yes and its probably a favorable answer. For is yes also if its your spare money. In the long run, bitcoin is appreciating and the best time to buy is always NOW.

That is right. After doing good research, you might find the bitcoin is very useful and have good potential.

I agree, researching is the best approach if you want to know something about bitcoin.  I do  that before i get myself involve with cryptocurrency.  And the thing that I know is that bitcoin is really one of the ways to improve people's life because it offers cheaper transaction and new horizons of opportunity to us.

Investing in Bitcoin is always good decision. You know best how much you can afford to spend for buying and how much money you can risk. Because there is a risk of price volatility but on long term you can't lose and therefore my answer is yes, buy Bitcoins for 1000€ and invest for your future.

Right now, it's a really great time to invest. The network is still wary from the Bitfinex hack, but once this wears off I expect a steady rise.

Don't be so sure. Investing during the buildup of the halving is dangerous, as it's almost all hype.

For me, this is kind of a huge investment, but should I actually do it?

What are the risks of doing this?

1,000€ are not a large amount if you live in the EU countries and risking them I would consider OK.
But if your total savings is 1,000€ then I would risk only half of them and see if there is any profit that you wanted then I would continue.

I think that it is way better to buy now because the price of the Bitcoin is now still at $600 so you can buy more Bitcoin because it is cheaper.
You should buy now and wait for the Bitcoin to rise to $1000 so that you can sell for that.

In which country do you live? If you don't know the average salary in your country then you can search it on google and get all information about your country finance.

Is €1000,- a lot of money? Sometimes yes and sometimes no, it is a lot of money if your monthly salary is 150€ - 200€ but if your salary is 2000€ - 5000€ then it isn't too much.

Buying bitcoins or not is your final decision but when you answer the questions above you can conclude yourself if it worth risking or not.

For me that amount of money is a lot, but since I am a gambler myself I am willing to risk that to bet for the future of bitcoin. I believe this is the best opportunity for us to invest in bitcoin since the price is increasing which means the demand is increasing.

Look at the price chart for the past few months, and if you have the stomach for watching your investment go up and down like a yo-yo, then do it.  And as the man above me has mentioned, you might double your money easily with the halving.  Anything is possible.  Just be prepared for the price to be volatile, and if you can't afford to lose what you put in, then don't do it.

If you want a safe to buy bitcoins, select 2-3 normal exchange, sign up there.
Then buy bitcoin on each exchange in the amount of not more than 50$. Then look at which market You like with her then and continue to work. Buy bitcoins in small portions, not more than 5% of your capital. For example, looking to purchase bitcoins for$ 10,000, in this case, the stock exchange make no more than$ 500, buy bitcoins, then withdraw to your bitcoin wallet/address. As soon as bitcoins are received into Your wallet and start to exchange the remaining 5%, and so on. Only keep bitcoins in cold storage! Especially when it comes to investments (in long). THAT'S ALL! The maximum amount you can throw those 5% of the amount. And if You still throw on that amount, then just stop working with this exchange, go to another.

I think if you buy now, you will probably make a profit in a few years. However, with the recent increase in price from around $600 to $640, you might be able to get a cheaper price if you wait for it to drop back a little.

Waiting  for bitcoin to drop its  price a little on bitcoin would  take  time though because as we observe that it almost stabilize its price on $600 price point in how many  months  previously thats actually the best time  to  buy though  and for sure this time you could already  enjoy 5%  profits on your bitcoin.

Yeah it's something that might be long enough for the eagerly anticipated. Because usually the bitcoin will decline after there are many stock bitcoin and halving the time when it is finished. Usually after there is halving the decline bitcoin happens after 8-10 months. So that's something that may happen

Bitcoin wont go down a lot more, expect it to reach once again the 500 dollars, as happen in the past, but dont expect it to go very high or lower then those since with bitcoin is something no one can know and trace where it will go.

Just as expected this  price dips  would  really happen  after  the halvening  event because  we  somehow observe bitcoins price  on  how  many years  regarding when theres an event. It really depends on the adoption though. Back to OP, 1000 euro is  already big  amount which  you could  put into bitcoin.

If you are going to buy Bitcoin then I suggest that you buy now because if I am correct the Bitcoin price is only going to rise from this point on.
The Bitcoin is not going to get any cheaper then it is at the moment.

If I have that much money, I will not invest it in Bitcoins. The reason for this is because it takes too much time before the price of Bitcoin increases. As you've seen for the past couple of months, the price has been stable, then it will increase, become stable again, decreases maybe, then become stable again. This "settling" pattern takes up too much time.

I think you should invest it in other stuffs in the real world. You can set up a business using that money. And after a while, the business might bloom and you'll get back your capital and the only money you'll be using as capital in the next years are just the money that you have earned from the business itself.

If you can hold the bitcoin for 10 years and the price double every two years, that will be a lot in that period.

Don't do what others will say, listen to everyone but do what you think can be the best for you, everyone will give their suggestions but at the end you will have to take the decision, and like everyone else i would probably say yes as well because i also feel that it really can be profitable to invest in bitcoins.

That's right and its still a good time to buy bitcoins as price has not reached on the roof yet so if you can manage to invest your money at current price then it will allow your to make good profits in future.

The price of the bitcoin is still very low. Not many people in the world heard or own the bitcoin at the moment.
