the decent thing to do would probably be to return it, but that would be entirely up to you.

Lol for now i really haven't experience this one yet but if this every happens to me will i guess i will have to use it properly because i think it's a blessing in disguise and i can't return this one to the real owner since i have no idea who ever did that.
The chances of you having to receive bitcoin randomly from an address, owned by someone you completely do not know, is nigh-impossible. It's easier to win the grand lotto than to receive bitcoin randomly, given the amount of addresses there are.

has it ever happened to u that u just had ur wallet opened and suddenly some BTC arrived out of nowhere?
like someone sent it to the wrong address or something?
like suddenly 0.3777 BTC are rolling in but u don't know who sent it, why it was sent and what it is all about?
~CfA~
Sadly but no, I’ve never received any bitcoin randomly, although I’ve always wished to have some bitcoin falling out of the sky haha just kidding. However, if that ever happened to me, I would be more concern about the ones who sent me bitcoin like that and what’s if that amount is a huge bunch of bitcoin, well then poor them.

Noo not yet and if that happens im going to be thankyou hoe that someone soon will send me 1 bitcoin randonmly so that i can have a capital to start trading if someone sent it to wrong address probably theres only a 1 percent chance that you are the one it because million of users are using bitcoin wallet yes i also never receive bitcoin accidentally but if some thing like that happen i will certainly send it back to the person, as once i got a physical wallet full of money round about half millions rupees in it but i found an address in that wallet and call to the person and give him back his wallet.

To be honest I have never received a single peanut of bitcoin in my wallet for free.
Its always an hard work for me to earn even a small amount of bitcoin and I am giving my best shot everytime.
It is impossible to get any free bitcoins because its a long string and people usually copy things and never type such big addresses and hence doing mistake is almost impossible. Yet I can say I got a free 0.012 from my client when he somehow double sent me 0.012 + 0.012 while he had to sent just once and was enough rich to let me keep the extra .012

You are right these will be from someone else and that is why we do not have to keep them for ourselves. we have to send these bitcoins back on that address from where we will accept them. so that the real owner will receive them

I have never received Bitcoins by mistake or randomly. Chances for something like this to happen are extremly small, almost like to win a lottery. And I don't know anyone who has such experience. Even if something like this would happen it wouldn't be fair to keep this coins so I would return them to the address they came from..

I kind of wish I received some BTC accidentally or randomly, however I haven't ever actually had something like that happen to me and chances are it is never going to happen to me, which I am fine with in some ways. If I did get some I'd have a debate with myself between whether or not I should send it back or keep it, and I don't want to think about that.

Well I haven't experienced yet that I have received bitcoin by accident and I don't think this is going to happen to anyone that uses bitcoin.
Because the bitcoin addresses that we have are unique and it is very unnecessary that a sender is going to be wrong and accidentally send it to anyone.
And even if this is going to happen to me, I will going to return that to the sender.

I've experienced it before, maybe on last year when I got the payment from a signature campaign. So the campaign manager sent me 0.1 BTC instead of 0.01 BTC, then I tell him that he sent me too much but then he said that it's okay he just mistyped the amount and I could keep the Bitcoin. What a nice Sig Manager

What a nice Sig Manager Wow, something so sad. However I see that her manager sign the campaign is very professional so you are not harmed the incident. But more fun is indeed using bitcoin: for bitcoin digital currency is advantageous for all of us. If you want a good thing then we have to be patient in waiting for the price of the bitcoin ride

This has never happened to me and probably will never happen. What are the odds of someone making a mistake like this when most people just copy and paste the wallet key they are sending to?
