My salary is around 10k too and I'm happy with it as I live in India. One of the cheapest city in country I live in. As my country still developing there exits problems with Sakarya structure and prices of valuable goods. The ratio is always fluctuating and sometimes it expensive for me and sometimes it is easy.

Which city in India you live in? As even I am from India and to be honest 10k salary is nothing for me as I am earning 30k per month but still its not enough for me as at the end of the month I am always short of money but now thanks to bitcoins that its giving me some extra money to take care of my expenses.

I really like to read threads such like that on this forum, because I can find mant different insights, and also everyone has some other point of view because of perspective, what gives us a great place for discussion.
I know many people who basically are mostly living thanks to bitcoin, as it is they main source of money.

Also, there are some guys out there who have stable job, but all savings are spending on bitcoin, to save the money for the future snd also get some interest, just thanks to having your money stored somewhere.

There is no problem in doing it the reasonable way, you can also divide your monthly savings by two, and just putting a half in bitcoin wallet.

I have good job paying a good salary to me and because of that I cannot spend enough time online behind bitcoins as my first priority is to concentrate on my full time job from where I get steady income and bitcoin is just an bonus for me.

I don't mean to be rude, and correct me if I'm wrong, but $10k/year in India is incredibly good for a citizen there, right? I'm kind of curious what you pursue for your line of work, but I don't want to ask you if you don't want to tell me.

Nearly 3/4s of a million rupees in India is incredibly valuable, right? I'd have to check the Big Mac Index but that's probably some top 1% tier wages right there.

I think your life is comfortable, have a fixed income and extra income that keeps coming from bitcoin. Of course you have a lot of money left over from your paycheck. That you can save for your old age dude

One can earn different sum of money. We should take into account that living standards are not the same all over the world. So, in Ukraine you may earn 1000$ per month and it's enough, but if you earn the same sum of money in the USA , it would not be enough.
In this connection, it's difficult to say exact sum that one should save, but I'm sure that even if it will be 25% of our salary -  that would be perfect!

Yeah I agree and living in a first world country requires a high salary to live. But we can say that these countries are well developed so they can afford to pay the salary of the employee much decent.

In my country theres a law that minimum wage earners are exempted to tax thats why we really dont mind the taxes implemented by goverment but theirs VAT when we buy some basic goods And thats ok since its helping my countries economy and my salary left is enough to survive for 1 month and wait another salary date.
Same here. I'm a minimum wage earner in our country, so I am exempted to those taxes. But I am not excuse in value added tax which is in the goods we buy and services rendered. Price of goods & commodities as well as services sich as electricity and water continuously increasing and my salary is just enough to pay those expenses. After paying those expenses what's left on me is my busget for 1 week, therefore I wasn't able to save. I can save sometimes, those left from my budget. I try to be thrifty to have my own savings. Thanks to bitcoin because it lessen my stress in thinking of these things, I can also save more than before.

In my country the salary standart is for about 500$ 0r 600$. Each country has their standart salary. May be some of us think that 500$ is too cheap,  but here is not really bad.
Sometimes we think that the more we get salary the more what we want to buy.
Exactly the problem of life is complaining Cheesy
Yups, many peiple with small salary but can still alive.  But some of us still complaining even get a lot of salary.
And the most thatvi thankful is i know bitcoin,  so it can be said i got more salary from bitcoin.

before, i have a job that gives me almost $5000 salary a year. but i resign because im not feeling well on that job, years passed by and i got old, so many work didnt accept person who has not in job for almost 3 years so im suffering discrimination on some other jobs. so i decide to be a self-employed and made a small business to earn. and now my salary is below $2000 a year because i dont have much capital to start all over again. so to pay some bills from , water, electricity, foods, appartment. it almost no more left to me. then  i meet bitcoin now, im hoping that maybe someday it will gives me a good future.

I want to talk about salaries. How much $ do you have left after paying taxes, rent, and basic expenses (electricity, water)
I get $10 000/y like a fucking slave
My spending basic is $5 000 / year, including food, $2 500 without food
I live in the former SSSR
Another reason to move away

I know in this country I am living, there is only a little salary you can received even your work is too much. Previously, I am earning 3.90$ a day. In each day that 3.90$ will be allotted for my food (breakfast, lunch dinner, meriendas), travel to work and school, some are for print and photocopy. All in all 3.90$ is not enough and no money is left from it, I am have no money for some extra things. I can’t buy some clothes, no time and money for jamming and no money to save. I am very happy if there is no school. All the money for travel is just used to go to work.

I think your income is high. You spend a lot of money because you live in a country with high living standards. In my country, people's income is relatively low, but they still have to spend a lot of money for life. I think your income is enough to spend and save

So we can safely say that it depends on where you live. And I think your salary is small. However, its like half of what I'm getting when I used to work. Anyways, eventhough my pay was high compare as yours, its still not enough for me and my family and to think that its above to where I'm living at up. One thing I learned is that if you have high salary, you tend to spend big as well. And I cannot even saved money then. That's why I just decided to quit and open up a offline business. So far I was able to save and I value money more than before. Plus my bitcoin earning was a added incentive because I have additional cash flows that I can pull everything I needed more funds.

You have such a good income and you are halfway of your journey to be successful in bitcoin. In my case,I couldn't say much thing about my previous job which I already quit and it's been 5 months now. I guess I am the only one here who got paid in a very low amount. Anyway,my salary back then was only two hundred dollars a month with taxes and so on. It's kinda embarassing but I'm sincere with this thing and it's hurting me a bit. The net income I get every end of the month is too small for me and I still need to give support for my parents. They also depend on me and I am their youngest child in the family. Now,I consider bitcoin as a blessing in disguise so I will continue with this for the future.
