There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I am going to check this out.
EDIT: there is a real release announcement in LBRY slack. I thought its FUD, it seems that LBRY will jump by more than +30 percent in the next week or so.

Our team does not make an empty FUD, we just do research and share it when we are sure 90% or more in our studies. Many simply do not believe. We also once told people about fldc, burst, but we were not listened and then they themselves shouted the same thing that we told them but before the price went up)) |

LBRY requires people to pay for accessing content with added difficulty of crypto. Nobody will do that in 2017. Plus insane inflation.

I know i havent posted much but i would like to say that i think this is a well thought out well designed coin. People having givin great care to this coin and its not some P & D coin it actually has its own unique idea on things and i love the "lbry://" url type thing thats so smart to have something like that. And what better name than a library. Going to enjoy seeing this go online.

Just visit their github, slack, News on their Web, and you'll see that all this time there was a lot of work, but no one is PR like Bela who has a lot of conversations and the application is still not there, although they say that there is, but nobody did not see)) |

For those of you that don't have early access... This is working pretty good..  I've had acces for a while. You can rent movies for a few cent's worth of LBRY. There is also alot of free content. |

It's still not too late to buy, I would even say it's time, do not be bothered by the growth of x2 in two days, then there will be more. Still a lot of people do not know about the imminent launch, and even more just do not know about LBRY at all. When the FUD starts like it happens in most cases (for example, the same VIDZ), although it will be more correct to say how STEEM because In the LBRY Team mailing list there are 165000 (!) Addresses. I think now there is a stage of the next accumulation as at POT in October 2016 |
