https://lbry.io/faq/block-rewards    https://lbry.io/faq/credit-policy

Please people, use math and look at these links before assuming the worst

The block reward , well those links explain it best, but

Sell pressure will CONTINUE until block 55k atleast, as per the block rewards. there is NO reason why anyone would see mystery or malice in downward price pressure when they make a simple comparison of hash rate against reward growth. (i.e hashrate has been more or less flat, reward hasen't)

at that point (block 55kish) the marginal cost of mining a lbc will float in relation to the hash rate, it wont have that added component that is dominating at the moment  (the above mentioned hashrate to reward ratio)
how this system works, in relation to LBRY's mining reward system can be explained best at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marginal_value. just apply it to the above link https://lbry.io/faq/block-rewards Smiley

come to the Slack for anymore questions or concerns guys, as this thread is not official, and subject to misinformation

I think you're the newbie . you have how many lbc in your account? we are a company working in the field of cinema was investing nearly 200btc on LBC . we have seen in this cryptocurrency something new something that affects us . but we are not disappointed behavior founders playing with the prices as they want. they use their power over money then they have more than 98% of the entire market Sad they need to stop this scam . This is not good for the reputation of LBC

o? how many LBC is that?   could you sign a message containing even 50k LBC?     or are you just another newbie account full of it?

signed messages works fine , please sign "I am elmenuar, date aug21/2016"   please, with this address containing "200BTC in LBC" and post here.

who wants to guess the outcome?

1: Poof, MAGIC! never hear from this user again
2: They "don't know how to sign a message" . but have 200BTC to throw around on ONE project?  riiiiiighht... Cool
3: They can't sign the message, error out , "insufficient funds"

WHO WANTS TO PLAY THE DAILY NEWBIE BULLSHITTER GAME ?!!??  Cheesy  Cheesy

Dont know about what that guy say, bu i belive that the LBRY coin lose much value also for not have a windows wallet.

When you develop something that are imcompatible with 40% of the users software, you lose one great slice of the market.

Nobody trusts in exchanges/pools addresses to keep high volumes of "money".

LBC is nVidia territory.
Old AMD cards like 270x/280x and also 380/390/480 are more profitable mining ETH, no profit here for AMD(with private miner ofc).

Could you tell us why the hell did you put 200 BTC in this premine crap? Most people posting here are miners who dump whatever they get. When this thing is over, they move on to another profitable coin and that's all.

Excuse me if this has been asked before, but how much hashrate do the 390s pull at lbry?
For me it's 163 Mh/s.

Private Kernal?

I think the opensource only does around 90MHASH on the 390.

http://cryptomining-blog.com/8075-cpu-and-amd-gpu-mining-for-lbry-credits-lbc-now-available/
Yes,Wolf miner. Luckily we have Wolf.

Private kernels suck. They push small time miners out. Those with big farms can afford to buy a custom kernel and make real profits with it. The others see this unfair shit happening and go away. Coin gets dumped every day by big farm ops. Very nice, huh?

It's not private, it's openly for sale - https://ottrbutt.com/lbry

Yeah, I'm sure it makes a big difference. BTW there are folks out there who resell your kernel with a big discount. Something like 60% off Smiley

After 3 days on yiimp pool, can confirm that yield is better 10-20% compared to coinmine.pl
Also glad that % is going to dev of ccminer and not to some random guy.

that is quite interesting - in last 24 hrs they had avg hashrate 307GH and mined 73 blocks, we had 850GH but we mined 248 blocks... will appreciate if you can post some screenshots
