why is the price down a problem?  because of poor investment choices on your behalf? or because people looked at LBRY as investment, NOT as miners? :p

Ok, put the jokes beside. Provide steady price, and we will speak the same language! If the LBC is intended for miners, in that case price needs to be flat, or around 10% up and down. LBC price is going down, and no stopping, so for the miners this is real hell. Am I wrong? Don't think so, regarding number of miners every day is less, and less.

there was NO ICO, they don't need to "provide steady price" to anyone....

honestly, how do you EXPECT them to do just that? where does the $$$ come from to buy all the MINERS coins?  they haven't sold any premine... or do you expect them to do it from their OWN pocket because of YOUR choice to mine? its dosent make sense dude, be reasonable, "jokes aside".

price is in correlation to current block reward , plain and simple. keep in mind many miners have little to no power costs. OC miner said this simply above.

So, yes, expect (much) more dumping until the rewards fall again.

let's just say that we are half way through with the inflation so in about 30 days we will hit max inflation.  So there will be like 9-10 million coins in circulation by block 50000.  Right now, every 5k in price is 25% decrease in value sooooo It will become harder and harder to push it down imo.  Oh and I'm pretty sure people will start hoarding their coins long before the inflation stops.

I don't really worry about the pre-mine.  Think of it this way, eventually if this project does work out well and they can snag up a couple of Major Hollywood distributors like MGM, Sony, Universal I think LBRY giving them like 2-3 million coins would be good so they can really snag up their legitimate links.

The future is bright for this coin, I'm mining and going to be buying on the dips.  This coin has a serious future.  

Don't think price now, think price when a shit load of real movie/music companies pump the shit out of lbry.

Don't Panic.  This is LBRY's future.



and for those talking about 1.2 billion coins, that's like after 20 damn years.

Smart move from the billion dollar coin developers.
Double the mining reward in the 3 first months to make sure that the early miners dump them for a few satoshis. Then slowly accumulate when the coins are cheap.

yup. Probably in around 40 days LBRY will reach it's peak mining rewards.
Don't expect big price increase 'till then... miners dumping pressure will continue and intensifies
I personnally keep LRBY as a good coin, hot tech, interesting project, but will keep it on my watch list until it reach around 12k satoshis price to consider buying it.
meanwhile, for those LBRY fans around here, the next month is a good opportunity for you to accumulate more and get to your desired shares %.
