Ya the market for LBRY looks pretty good for investing right now, I might pick some up again. Any idea if they are pushing towards improving the marketing? I never see any news or information about LBRY outside of the LBRY subreddit.

Is there any way to restore my old lbry wallet? I have an wallet which i got through an early access code. I have some coin there and now i want to move this wallet in to another pc. But don't know how to backup my wallet.

If you need step-by-step help probably best to ask on the lbry slack channel – there's usually lots of people on and someone should help you out.

Its sad to say but i dont even know what lbry does or when there is a big update coming even though im holding a bag!
I know thats not too smart on my side but besides that, im very active on twitter and reddit reading up on coins.
And the fact is i have NEVER seen anything from lbry ever lol.
Its not hate its the facts, i think there should be done way more on the side of lbry considering marketing.
Just look at DASH they have crazy marketing, and it paid off.

eLnoXX is right imho. Having a slack channel and twitter isn't marketing. With a minimum marketing effort this could be top50 hands down as the product and the potential is great

Could anyone throw some light on that, How big is the release and what are features they are delivering.

it gives a seed?   haha as far as i know your backup the wallet the same as BTC's electrum wallet, as lbrycrd is a fork of BTC and the app is an electron one
they have instructions at https://lbry.io/faq/how-to-backup-wallet, but its basically ya just like any other coin, save your wallet file!
i believe LBRY is a bit more complicated with claims, but the wallet file holds the coins keys, so its #1

I am from Ukraine, i am not using VPN or proxy, but i using router. My world IP is rial dynamic (right now it is 151.*.*.*) PC IP after router is 192.168.145.11
My card is a virtual card from Privatbank (pb.ua)

at this time because we saw lots of Rewards/Referral abuse from there previously. Sorry for the inconvenience, but you can continue to use the LBRY app as is as the verification does not affect standard functionality.

So LBRY banned all of Ukrainians just because then can't setup verification

I like the idea of the project and want it to succeed. But there are many problems with interface that will not encourage user adoption.  It takes forever to load a video, most don't work for me. Still haven't figured out how to unpublish. There is no live streaming. There is no univeral search, look at youtube search. Fix these problems is the only way lbry will go anywhere.

oh hey your right! ;p  I looked at that reddit link and all i did was follow what it said.  i looked at the default_Wallet file, and sure enough it can be read as a text file. Opening the file with a text editor reveals your pubkeys, send/receive addresses and your 13 word seed is in there too how to recover it? put the backed-up seed in the new wallets place i assume

Are you allowing verification from Romania?
I've sent you an email at hello@lbry.io but I haven't received an answer.
I am not using VPN/Proxy and the card is issued by a reputable international bank.
